What other sports do you like besides football??

Obviously football is our passion, and in specific, this great club is our pride and joy....
But what other sports does everyone follow/support??


Im a follower of Australian Rules Football, and i barrack for St. Kilda.
Im also a big tennis and cricket fan....go the aussies, the ashes are back on Australian turf hahaha ....can someone remind me of what the scores were??
Lastly, i follow the American basketball, Cleveland Cavaliers

I'm trying my hand at golf at the moment - very difficult game, but bores me rigid watching it.
Can't say any other sport rocks my boat apart from football.

Other than liverpool then i'd say
rugby (only the big games in six nations.heineken cup,world cup)
tennis ( only the majors)
darts(only when Phil taylor 's playing)
Formula 1(mostly just the first corner and when there's controversy C'mon Lewis Hamiliton)

Athletics
Strongest Man

I'll second that I do like to see the best beaches put to some good use now and again.

Apart from football , I also follow Cricket, i am a huge fan of it. I support England (who are going to the win the ashes by the way Scouser 10 ) and India.

i follow basketball and i also paly for my college basketball team

Rugby I play for my school though I don't follow it below international level. Used to support the Saracens and went to a cup final vs Wasps at Twickenham ages ago.
Cricket I follow mainly at international level again, though I've been to see Surrey a number of times. I also play for my school.
Tennis I play alot and watch the Masters events.
With Setanta showing Aussie Rules footie, I've been watching abit of that, and actually found it quite interesting. I'm slowly learning the rules .

Any of the water sports.

I haven't played golf for a while - got in to that a while ago.  Went the driving range the other week and still 'had it'.

Also used to play cricket. Until I got dropped from the team.

Big fan of AFL, myself. I'm a Carlton supporter, very happy with the last few days events....(we signed the best player in the land for a 5 year deal).

Like most Aussies, I like quite a few varied sports....

Cricket is probably the one I follow the most.
I have been to the 1st day of the 1st test EVERY YEAR since '84 here in Brisbane
and am Founder of the "Don Tallon Bar Memorial XI" which we had 300 people in our group
all with embroided shirts, hats and stubby coolers to watch The Ashes Test last year at the "Gabba" in Brisbane
it started off with just me and 3 mates taking a day off school to go and watch,
has now turned into this Huge Day with mates of mates all climbing aboard....is a great day

Fishing ( I posted pics in a post earlier this week) and Scuba Diving is another big thing for me, I have a boat and the bay is about 5 minutes away...

But as with everybody here, Liverpool was my first and biggest joy, its just hard being this far away and not being able to be more involved.

Horse Racing for me, I love it.......... although my bank manager is not to keen

Haha, Chris Judd....i used to love the bloke, even went to the same high school as him Caulfield Grammar.....but now, hes gone to carlton for the money and not for the passion of playing....very disappointing juddy!!!

I love Super League and have followed Saints since they came to Anfield in '96! Bobby Goulding paraded the Super League trophy and had some old Reds like Davie Fairclough trying to kick a rugby ball at half time! I'm into Cricket and like a few other people have said I would love to see an Ashes test in Australia or sit in the West Indian sun with the Barmy Army supping Red Stripe! But the daddy of all sports and one I love as much as the Footy is Boxing. My all time hero is Marvelous Marvin Hagler, Sheer entertainment!

have any of you ever seen the Irish sport Hurling?

Its the fastest field game in the world. Played 15 a side goalkeeper 6 backs 2 midfielders 6 forwards. You can strike the ball with the hurl (a stick) on the ground or from the hand. The posts are similar to rugby posts and if the ball goes over you get 1 point and 3 points for a goal.

If you ever get the chance to watch it on telly do or indeed if your ever visiting Ireland and theres a game on try and go its quality

 the second I give to snooker, athletics, tennis
