Nah Wahs I don't 'blame' them... each to their own but I reckon it's less to do with their ability to scout than our ability to pay.

Whichever way you look at it, it's not Cissokho's  fault. He is not the quality we need, but he didn't pay us to play him. We decided, for whatever reason that he could fulfil the role we wanted him to play. The fact he couldn't, is not down to him, but to us.
Let's hope we learn from this, I just won't hold my breath.

Maybe we will see Flanno at left back with Kelly at right back from here on in. I can't even be bothered to talk about how poor Cissoko is anymore. It really doesn't need to be said. My father in law is Sunderland to the bone and even he has been taking the piss that we got this lad when he was all set to go to Sunderland at one stage. They went and got Alonso who has been there best player instead

its OK I have sent Martinez an E Mail asking him not to play any wingers on Tuesday due to our lack of fullbacks that should do the trick

I'd have preferred taking Insua back on loan from Atletico Madrid than taking Cissohko on loan.  The poor guy is so out of his depth it's a wonder he can stay conscious on the field.

My current pastime is watching football from all corners of the World in all divisions, just to have a peek at their left backs. So far, including Kidderminster, Sheffield UTD and some second division Spanish teams, I am yet to see one which is anywhere near so bad as this poor lad. I mean just imagine if you got rid of Cissokho and put Kolorov (who isn't the best but is decent) in his place. Our whole back four, our whole team even would be completely transformed overnight.

Exactly, so who in their right mind thought he could do the job for us. It beggars belief that we actually paid money to sign him on loan.
He is so out of his depth, it's pitiful to watch. Not his fault, as I said, the fault lies with our 'committee', whoever they are.

Aly is just as poor a left back as I've seen, sooner Jose is back the better, poor poor player

His work rate is always good, his defending improved vastly over the last few weeks. He just massively  lacks quality when in possession, seems to give the ball away a lot

Was meaning to say this the other day but he is doing the very basics well enough. One good thing about him is that he seems to know his own limitations and keeps his game very, very simple. Annoying when chasing a game but when ahead and looking to control a game, has it's plus sides.

Was pretty proud of him tonight.

We should have a parade or like an award to give him.

He will be a clear winner for the January player of the month award.

I agree, I thought he had his best game for us, it can only be good for his confidence.
      Well done Aly.

Not a good player.  He has a poor pass and poor ball control.

Defensively he is slightly better but I agree with Michael Owen's assessment that he is like Djimi Traore.

I always worry when he has the ball or is being taken on by the winger or full back.

I would be mortified if his move was made permanent.

Liverpool desperately need one of Johnson or Enrique to be fit for the Arsenal match in 10 days.  Either that or Kelly starts at RB and Flanno moves to LB.

Always seems to be with this forum at the moment that one player has to be the scapegoat and come in for massive amounts of criticism.
Sure he hasn't set the world on fire but he hasn't been that terrible either.
If Enrique was fit he obviously wouldn't play very much but he doesn't complain or whine.
He works hard and appears to be trying his best as he struggles to adapt to the league and our system.
Don't expect him to be with is next year but some of the abuse he gets is frankly embarrassing.

Spot on Lester hes our new scapegoat. Lets be honest now hes not good enough though he done little wrong today actually was one of his better games for us, but at no point has he really been the cause of us dropping points has he?
