I'd like to see Ryan McLaughlin play RB with Wisdom and Skrtel CB if Martin is fit.

That's a shout you know. I played footy with Ryan when I was younger in Belfast. From a young age, you could tell he had something about him and I've followed his progress closely. Quality little player, very reliable.

One of our employees when to school with him and is always asking if I think he'll get a game soon.

I've been thinking a lot about this team today and I've changed my mind about having the front three of Borini, Sterling and Alberto. I'd really like to see Aspas start because I really want him to get a goal or two, boost his confidence on the goalscoring front. I also really want Alberto play - I think I'd play Sterling or Ibe down the right over Borini because Alberto and Aspas aren't necessarily the fastest and using pace against this team will work wonders I feel.

Martin Kelly is not any where near fitness and will not start today.

I watched him play in the U21s against ManUre U21s. He played the whole 90 as a CB so he may not be as injured as people think.

Only if it was the FA Cup mate, in the League Cup a draw would mean extra time and perhaps penalties, not a replay

No but it counts as one off his ban (I think).

I would have personally liked to see an entirely fresh team but I acknowledge that it's not possible due to lack of fitness for some (Kelly, possibly Skrtel) and the fact that Rodgers thinks we need a couple of older heads out there. Fine by me.

Hopefully we get to see Alberto, Sterling, Ibe, Allen and Borini, preferably from the start but if not then later on. I'd also love to see runouts for McLaughlin and Rossiter just to see how they fare, much like we gave Sinclair a debut at West Brom in the third round last season but again I realise Rodgers may be keen to just get through and avoid a potential banana skin following the FA Cup loss to League 1 Oldham earlier in the year.

Enoch is their biggest threat right? If Wisdom starts then he'll have to do a job on him. Then again I heard that Enoch may be out so I've no idea who County will put in their side.

Confident we'll win and get to enjoy some lovely football in the process.

Going on Brendan's comments and the fact we have four days between this and the Manc's game I'm expecting a strong starting line up.

Would like to see Alberto and Kelly given starts for different reasons.

I think if the league would have done something then only league games would be affected, however it was the FA that runs roughshod over the league and all domestic cup competitions.
