About time we had a strong manager who puts his foot down and doesn't  accept any f**king around.

All Sakho's social media suggests he loves having a laugh. I guess because he's injured he was bored and Klopp sent him home for F***ing about.

could've spat the dummy when informed he'll start of behind Lovren, Matip and Klavan in the pecking order. but that's what happens when you've played more than 20 games in the league only once since you got here. for a 20 million pound centre half that isn't good enough and we all know it, it just sucks to admit.

Sent back to Melwood to join Mario in the bold boys corner.

Seriously though he must have been acting the right maggot to piss Jürgen off twice.

Personally don't believe a word the Echo says, there's also rumours he's been sent back for specialist treatment on his Achiles.

Every team needs a character like Mama off the pitch, on the pitch he's a serious beast. Don't think Klopp is the type of manager to get angry with players having a laugh! Seems to be the type of stuff you'd expect boring Rodgers to do!

Not trying to look too much into things but Klopp seemed a little upset with him at Alcatraz as he mentioned how only Sakho turned up late and everybody was waiting on him at the airport. It was one of those times where somebody is being serious but trying to make it look like they're having a laugh about it too.

He must have been F***ing about quite a lot for him to be sent home though.

No doubt about it in my eyes from watching that, Jürgen is f***** off with Sakho big style. That being the case I 100% agree with the decision to send him off tour. It shouldn't be a jolly up, these lads need to remember we finished 8th in the league last season and we need to do much better. Time to get the nut down and do some graft, the boss is spot on.

Agreed with the funny/serious comment mate. Discipline is extremely important when you're trying to get maximum from a group and while I think Jürgen would appreciate the laugh and banter with the lads as much as anyone he still has to maintain that authority.

Sounds like Mama has stepped out of line and if that is the case I'm very disappointed with him. After his recent run in with drug use he should be the last to push his luck and perhaps that's why Jürgen is coming down hard on him, deservedly so if these rumours are correct.

Not sure how I feel about it going forward, if Mama continues to be the bad apple we can't allow him to spoil the bunch.

Anybody suggesting that Pearce and Reddy are just a making this up are in denial.

They are working with the club on a day to day basis and are granted extra access to the club's ongoings. The club feed them their info and at the moment they are with the club in the US as they travelled over with the club.

Do you really believe one of them is just going to make this sh*t up?

I agree with Mcarz regarding the Alcatraz video and it being Klopp and not the medical team that has told him to directly go home adds more substance to what Mcarz said. I like that Klopp's a funny guy but I like it more that he is a stern motherfucker who will turn and be ruthless when required.

Easy to forget, it seems, but didn't Mama have 'behavioural' problems before; issues which saw him dropped under Rodgers (to mixed reviews)?  :confused-smiley-013:

Whilst it's still speculation, at the moment, perhaps Jürgen has seen that indiscipline too. His injury might save him the ignominy of being dropped this time 'round but either way; he's not going to be featuring in our team for some while, it seems.

Jürgen made a comment about people assuming Ragnar was fourth choice but that it was not the case. Put two and two together on that one. ;)

It's funny that he was talking about he could live in Alcatraz for a hundred years but as it turns out he haven't even managed to live in the u.s. for a week.

Just hope there is nothing "serious" in this. Sakho is a beast for us. A leader. For me, he is an integral part of the team.

I don't think it's Behavioural problems, insofar as he's constantly a disruptive influence, rather, reading between the lines it seems more likely that he's treating the tour as if he's on his jollys, rather than a business trip which technically is what it is. He turned up late and he's probably not taken things as seriously as he should so has been sent to the naughty step back home.

To be frank - in my opinion he's got off lightly amongst fans to date. Players must be obliged to clear supplements with the medical staff.....

You miss the biggest game of your career through combination of vanity, naivety and stupidity (with a soupçon of administrative cock-up thrown in!).

A game the outcome of which you could well have influenced......

You then get get sent home from the pre-season tour for dicking about.

Time to pull your head out of your arse Mama cos the world smells coffee whilst you admire your own sh#t!

the headlines are a bit misleading.

theyre like "Sahko sent home" then u read the article and it says he has an injury.

      Seems like clickbate.

interesting watching people turn on him in this thread though ;D

Sounds a lot like "if I can't even trust you out here on tour, how can trust you to do what I want you to do on the pitch?"

Stop getting your news from Twitter. You seem to have a problem understanding convoluted media 'reports' with no basis.

It emerged in a club video that Sakho arrived late for the flight to the US and the Telegraph reports Klopp has taken disciplinary action against him.

The club have not confirmed this, saying the France defender will get treatment for an Achilles injury.
