Can't really complain, what with it being a loan. Must say, don't think he is a bad player at all but I would worry about his consistency. Maybe that is part of the reason why any deal was done on loan. Fairly confident Brendan will make him work his ass off though.

      Welcome to the club Victor!

Think this might be done the OLD Liverpool way. He will probably get worked to death on the rougher edges of his game, and fired into the first team when it all starts to come together. Bit of a rough diamond, but with loads of potential. Welcome to the greatest supported team on the planet Victor.

Good player, but not quite the quality I'd hoped I and quite obviously BR had wanted.  Hopefully he'll prove a good stopgap signing.

If he learns to pass the ball like Sturridge has, he will make a good player. I think I might end up smashing my laptop/TV in frustration watching him at some point in the season though.

I reckon this could be a decent deal that may catch a few by supprise with the club hoping to make this deal perminant if the fee is right.

he's an improvement on Downing and Borini also i feel Henderson is perfect cover for that no 10 role when we need to rest coutinho and will learn them killer passes just by watching and training with Coutinho.

Moses gives us that option now to player the likes of Hendo, coutinho back in their perfered CAM roles where they are more of a goal threat. With moses pace and power it offers us more going forward than we had and i think we should push Ibe back to U21 just till Jan to let him get more games an then maybe loan  him out in Jan for the rest of the season.

Victor Moses was on target as Nigeria secured top spot in African World Cup qualifying Group F with a 2-0 win over Malawi in Calabar.

The Super Eagles, dominated for large parts of the game, and sealed the win with a goal either side of the break.

Emmanuel Emenike, top scorer at the Africa Cup of Nations in January, gave the hosts the lead just before half-time with a wonderful chip, and Malawi's task was made all the more difficult early in the second half when the referee awarded a penalty after James Sangala was adjudged to have brought down Nnamdi Omuadi.

Moses, who completed a loan move to Liverpool earlier this week, was the man entrusted with taking the kick and he made no mistake, doubling Nigeria's advantage from the spot.

Malawi's Mzava Limbikani was then dismissed for a second yellow card, enabling Nigeria to see the game out comfortably.

After an impressive display, Moses was withdrawn 19 minutes from time, replaced by Nosa Emanuel Igiebor.

Nigeria will now enter a play-off against another group winner to determine which nation progresses to next summer's tournament in Brazil.

I reckon Sturridge gave him the BIG club   tip.

I hope we have the option to sign him permanently, it would be so silly to return him to Chelsea if he has a good season here. Imagine he has a superb season and reveals himself to be the next big thing, and then we have to let him return to Chelsea!

If he likes it here and wants to stay all he has to do is hand in a request..pretty simple stuff.

Even if there isn't an agreement for us to sign him next summer I don't think Chelsea would stop him from leaving. They view Lukaku as the main up and comer at the club and having spent big on other players like Willian and whilst there is still nobody who wants to take Torres off their hands and the fact they will probably spend big next summer too I can see them letting him go for a similar fee to that of Sturridge.

I find it a bit peculiar how people are excited about Moses on loan, yet scoffed at the idea of Diame on a free in 2011.

From what I remember Fed a fair few were excited about getting Diame on a free but then the story about his heart condition came out and people were a bit more wary.

Always shocking when people have different opinions.  Wouldn't the world be a better place if everyone thought like you Fed.
