Think Johnson needs to keep the stache if he's gonna bowl like that.

Decided to check the score at this unGodly hour. Wish I hadn't. The last time I was left this stunned at this time in the morning, Osama Bin Laden had been shot dead!

At one point we had five bowled out for seven.  :D

Australia bowled well, now their batting good too. A bit of a humiliating day for England, the Aussies have their tails up and can taste blood.

Probably just what the series needs as a spectacle Aussies going 1 up

I have a nagging feeling mate that they'll have the 'bit between their teeth' now, I hope England don't collapse but the Aussie's aren't going to make it easy from here on in, they've got the start they desperately needed. I'd like to see the p.rick Johnson go back to his relatively normal erratic bowling as today he was on fire. I remember all the hype the Aussie's pumped up about him, and  :lmao: my @rse off when he first started bowling against England - he was awful. But from what we've seen today, this must be what all that hype was about, Lyon did well too and England just collapsed.  :( Fair play to the convicts.

Big worries for England. They were pretty poor in the summer but got away with it as Australia were even worse. Could be completely different if the Aussies get the momentum from winning this test (which surely they will do unless it rains).

Should at least be an interesting series at least!

Watched a bit back today.. How Lyon took two on that wicket beggars belief..
He doesn't turn it so it's not going to beat the bat, bowling round the wicket, a little extra bounce maybe but get forward to him to counter the bounce as it won't turn past the bat.

This test is gone, but we need to win some second innings battles to take something into the second test

From 2-82 to 8-91 I think, what a monumental batting collapse and I thought our batting line up was sh*t. Hope we smash a lead of 400+ by the end of the day, knock your lads off again, cheaply and have a rest day on the 5th. Stay away rain, that's the only way The Poms have got a chance.

I wonder what the odds are on that Shabs, could earn yourself a few quid the way that England have started the series.

Don't know mate but in my opinion the Australians were very unlucky in England when they lost the Ashes.
