If we had even bothered looking for and securing a suitable replacement  then this thread  in all probability wouldnt even be here the ones who orchestrated the search and ultimate failure knowing what we were going to lose is a monumental fck up and should require nothing other than the sack.

You mean the same Sturridge that has been injured all season and has an unknown return date; also, the same Gerrard that is now in his mid 30s? I'm pretty sure he's happy with no song (for all you know he may actually have one) with progression in the Champions League and a chance at the league title over Europa League, a tough fight for a possible top 4 finish and a song.

I also forget to mention Alves, Alba, Pique, Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta, Rakitic, Pedro and whoever else. What's your point? A player's career is short, I don't begrudge him a move to his dream club. Think you might need to get over it because it clearly still bothers you.

Doesn't bother me a bit...this is a thread about people missing Luis. I don't miss him as many here still do. He got what he wanted...good for him, I'm happy supporting the players that want to be a part of this club, not those that long for "greener" pastures.

You seem to be the one bothered by the fact that I'm not heartbroken and crying in my pillow that he left.

No player is bigger than the club. Not Stevie, not Carra, not Torres and especially not Suarez.

Not at all, Walton. I believe we have players who can score goals. We showed that against Swansea. Just need to make sure we play the right system and avoid playing players who can't be arsed working hard.

IMO he could have been our best player ever. I miss him like crazy I loved his desire and passion.
His talent was incredible  - we would be challenging again this season no doubt.

I have never missed an ex player as much. Just a phenomenal footballer. Miss you Luis
