Must be a matter of time before he is given a chance, picking up from where he left last season.

Give him a spot in the Seniors. When Salah goes off, Harry comes on.

WILSON YET TO SIGN NEW DEAL

Wilson has been a key player for the Reds’ academy sides throughout his time with the club, but is yet to break through on a regular basis on the first-team stage.

The Wales international made his senior debut in last season’s FA Cup third-round replay win at Plymouth Argyle, but has since returned to the U23 fold.

He has been in fine form so far this season, scoring 11 goals and laying on a further 10 in 15 appearances, building on his excellent campaign last time out.

But a lack of opportunities under Jürgen Klopp has seemingly led to Wilson setting his sights on a move elsewhere.

According to ESPN FC, the 20-year-old has rejected the offer of an extended deal with Liverpool, which could prompt a switch to the Championship.

Preston North End have already been credited with an interest in a January loan, but now Wilson could instead leave on a permanent basis.

Wilson last agreed terms with Liverpool ahead of the 2016/17 campaign, though it is unclear when his current contract expires.

It would be difficult to begrudge Wilson pushing for the Anfield exit, given his prolonged excellent form at academy level has fallen on deaf ears at Melwood.

Wilson is no longer training under Klopp every day, instead taking sessions with U23s manager Neil Critchley, underlining his drop down the pecking order.

With Sheyi Ojo and Ryan Kent currently out on loan with Fulham and Freiburg respectively, it is likely that Wilson could be further overlooked if he remained on Merseyside beyond this season.

Preston won’t be the only side interested in signing Wilson, who has added an industrious edge to his game after persistent injury issues in previous seasons.

He would no doubt shine in the Championship if given time to settle, and could even be an option for sides chasing promotion.

Wilson is unlikely to be the only youngster to leave Liverpool in January, either on loan or permanently, with Ovie Ejaria, Cameron Brannagan and Ben Woodburn set to follow him.

What might be wise if Liverpool were to sell the Welsh international is to include a buy-back clause in any deal.

American forward Brooks Lennon is already on loan with MLS side Real Salt Lake City, and is believed to be close to agreeing a long-term move, with his Reds deal set to expire next year.

Don't think he'll end up getting a chance here but can't help but feel he would be a much better option coming in for the likes of Salah rather than Ings/Solanke.

Looks like he could be off this Summer with Fulham and Huddersfield looking to sign him.

Can't blame him at 21 wanting first team football he's unlikely to get here.

Think he should go, but add a buy back clause or loan him for a year.

Not sure he has the physicality to cut it at the highest level but would be decent for a mid table team.
