I'm being optomistic but really believe we can acheive these results now that the team are clicking. Spurs have looked poor and so have Chelsea and City, its Arsenal and the "small" teams we have to win whilst taking points from the top 6 Teams.

We've got some very tricky games coming up so if we manage 20 points out of those listed I'd personally be over the moon.

Yer tough december as long as we can take points and not loose to Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal and if we do loose its to the lesser teams i will be happy. Then in Jan buy another attacking midfielder with goals in him and loan out Ibe, and sell Skrtel to raise some more cash for a goalscoring midfielder. (not that i dont like Skrtel)

I wouldn't sell Skrtel he has been one of our best this season and is keeping Agger out the team atm. I'd also be more in favour of loaning out Raheem rather than Jordan Ibe.

Come January I'd like to see us get another RWB as we are a little short of cover there and personally i've not been impressed by Glens performances over the last 12 months.

Would you consider Mica Richars as RWB as he fits FSG mould for LFC players?? I too think Skrtel has been class but think if a Russian team come in for him or Napoli again we will sell just because we have to balance the books abit.

I've always liked Micah but I doubt Man city will sell to us, especially if we are in contention come January.

If we come up against a ref who's a stickler for shirt pulling, Skrtel is going to give away penalties. And one goal could make all the difference in those big games against Arse, Chavs, Citeh and Spuds. Every time there's a corner against us I have to cover my eyes because Skrtel goes into all-in wrestling mode.

The positive for me in those games is that we have pretty much all the big teams at home in the second half of the season. So if we do well in those games its an even bigger boost.

Not really a time to look ahead of the schedule. We've got a massive test this weekend and how we respond to that could go a long way in determining if we're up for the task or not this term.

Agree we should take one game at a time, but looking at those 10 games I would take anything over 29 points right now. :)

5 should win games, 5 hard games. Seriously if we get 22 or 23 points from those games I would be delighted.

Yer good point about playing them all away now means we can get them whilst there not at their best now, so that when all teams are at full potential we will have them at home and destroy them.

Still think we will beat the big teams away as we play well against them bigger teams its the "lesser" teams we need to beat. Still pissed off about the southampton game, but to be fair they've been the best team performance wise this season we've played.

17 - 20 Anything above 20 would be excellent. It's the toughest set of 10 games we have all season, if we manage to average 2 points per game over those fixtures we're on title contending form, not just top 4.

If we don't get at least 25, Brendan should be sacked.

So far the only team that poses a serious threat to us is Chelsea.  Yes I know all the tough games are away but none of them have been that good this season, home or away.

Either way I can handle us dropping points to the traditional top 4 teams, it's the ones below us we need to take maximum points from.  Having said that there are a few more teams this season capable of taking points off all teams so I believe we'll see a much more level playing field this season compared to usual.

Maintain the 2 points per game average throughout the season and we'll be in the mix come May  ;D

Think people are being a bit ridiculous by stating that we can win at Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea etc. No chance in hell of winning all of them. I'd take 18 points from the next 10.

Let's not get carried away. We've only really delivered a vintage Liverpool performance in two or three games this season. Obviously I'm confident we keep it up now we've hit some form but we need to acknowledge the fact the midtable teams have strengthened and will therefore be tougher to beat. Arsenal and a couple of the other big boys have improved too so it won't be easy to amass lots of points in this tough run. Having said that, if we avoid injuries to key players such as Suarez, Sturridge, Coutinho, Gerrard, Lucas and Mignolet throughout this run then we should gain a respectable number of points.

      Arsenal V Liverpool ....Lose
      Liverpool V Fulham .....Win
      Everton V Liverpool .....Draw
      Hull V Liverpool ..........Win
      Liverpool V Norwich......Win
      Liverpool V West Ham...Win
      Tottenham V Liverpool...Draw
      Liverpool V Cardiff........Win
      Man City V Liverpool.....Draw
      Chelsea V Liverpool.......Lose

That would be 18 points from a possible 30. Considering the difficulty of those away fixtures, that would be a good return and should keep us right in the mix beyond Christmas.

Arsenal game is super tough to predict, really could go either way but I just feel they'll have a little bit too much for us in those attacking midfield areas. We've bee vulnerable 'in the hole' this season, fortunately we have either come against below par no. 10s or played teams without one up to now. Ozil and Cazorla are extremely clever footballers who use the space superbly and I'm worried they'll take advantage of it to pull our shape all over the place. With SaS we definitely have a chance of a result there but I'm expecting a narrow loss. Fulham at home should be an absolute gimme. Everton have won five of their last six (lost at Man City) so to win there would be great, but I could accept a draw because they have a very good first team. Hard to predict much beyond that because we have no idea what form we or the other teams will be in and injuries may arise.

Really looking forward and nervous for those big away games in equal measure!

Who in the list should we be worried about??

Arsenal who have beat one team in the top five so far this year?

Chelsea? Who drew with Man City after a disastrous mix up by Hart?

      Man City.....again...Joe Hart exhibit A.

Think people are giving a bit too much respect to the traditional "top" teams right now. We are on just as good of form (or even better to be argued) than any of those teams.

With Sturridge and Suarez well rested and the return of Phillipe why would anyone fear Arsenal?

We have to win the 5 easier on paper games and draws against spurs and everton away are achievable. We re possibly looking at 3 defeats in the others so 17 points is a pessimistic and conservative estimate.
