The inescapable, unacceptable face of capitalism.

      To a large extent, yes.
Some people see the collection of money and material goods as a contest, like who has the most, and thinks it makes them better people.

Others see money simply as a means to an end, as a tool and little more.

The unfortunate fact is that there are many more of the former than the latter.

Capitalism encourages the basest human qualities (?) to manifest and exaggerate themselves, it's only saving grace is in an individuals sense of moral obligation, that quality is not compulsory of course.
By it's very nature it invites greed and avarice, these two dubious qualities are an essential ingredient of 99.9% of the vast majority of entrepeneurs.
Not a model of a humaniterean, socially responsible, charitable individual - just as well really that they are divided from the majority for their own sake.

I don't agree but you must have a very bleak outlook on humanity because I'd argue that everyone in the world is capitalist, either by choice or by necessity, everyone (with perhaps a very few exceptions) look to better themselves to get a better house, have nice holidays, secure better education for their children etc etc. This is universal and as long as its mixed with social reponsibility e.g NHS then I really don't see the problem with it. The greater evil is corruption at both a corporate and government level and that happens irrespective of government type.

It is essential that in improving one's lot it is not at the misfortune of others which unfortunately is all to commonplace in the government we contemplate.
Social responsibility is not in evidence with any of their policy's, indeed they seem to thrive on dividing society and destroying communities, they have succeeded in dividing a party to attain power.
They will not achieve a majority share of the vote at the next general election and it is to be seen if the ConDem alliance will hold.
      With responsibility comes corruption.

Its a very sad reflection of a human being who is willing to knowingly upset a lot of people to further his own ends. People never cease to amaze me at how low they will stoop in order to make some kind of pathetic personal gain. I wonder what his family think of him.

Nothing surprises me in this world, it's all about money and keeping secrets. As long as the populous doesn't know all is fine and dandy.

MP's expenses, they all know it was going on, morally wrong, but on "illegal", so they kept doing it.

It's been going on for ever, and will carry on.

Question I have is were they bum buddies when Morgan wanted to buy us.
