Going for a four nil win today with a hat trick for Suarez, come on you Reds.
Gone for a  conservative 2-1 win and that was predicted before Sturridge got injured.

Funny how when Sterling first broke through he was SEVENTEEN.  He was brilliant and blowing defenders off the pitch and everyone was talking about how young he is and how we have to develop him slowly and be patient and not overdo it.

Now he's at the ripe-old pensioner age of 18 and has trailed off a bit and some are already calling it his "last chance."

      oh dear.
i didnt mean it that way mate... If he doesnt perform and gets dropped , ll be loaned out as BR already finding him hard to give him any game time...and in that case it could be last game for him as he ll be loaned out in jan window...i want him to perform and provide us some attacking options.

The team in the little bar thingy at the top of the main page has Agger starting instead of Johnson. Was worried that he was injured too until I checked in here

i think thats why he wasnt picked constantly...he s not bad player bt hes lazy ass and its fact...if BR got options he d be last person to get picked..

oooh, sorry didn't realise that's a fact. Apologise for not knowing that

How is it that players like Henderson/Borini/Joe Allen etc are already 4/5 years older than Raheem Sterling, but the excuse used for them being sh*te is they are "young" and "need time," whereas barely F***ing 18 year old Raheem Sterling has more talent in his left big toe than all of them three combined and yet is already on his "last chance"?

can someone please explain that to me?

Big chance for Stirling and Moses to prove they deserve a regular starting role in this team, certainly now Sturridge is out it's a chance for them to shine.

Still think the team is lacking quality in the final third, after Suarez, there's not much quality with the loss of Daniel and Coutinho but we have enough to beat Hull.

Gutted for Danny hope he recovers earlier than predicted,
Surprising line-up from BR, is he Rafa in disguise ?
Good for Vic & Raheem hope they do themselves justice, very attacking ploy from Brendan sending a message to Hull 'score more than us' you deserve to win,

Can't see Hull causing to many issues but certainly won't be a walk over, still reckon we will bag a 0-3 victory,

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers: "Daniel Sturridge is out for six to eight weeks which is obviously a big blow.

"It is one where it is about the terrific players to come in. Raheem Sterling is terrific player and Victor Moses is a very talented player, and I know they are both hungry to do well.

"Kolo Toure is in at centre-back mainly for his experience. He is good at dealing with the sort of threat they pose, strong at set-pieces and he will organise alongside Martin Skrtel."

Want us to smash these but can't help thinking that line-up looks unbalanced. Interesting to see Agger dropped for Toure, I think this partnership could be very good with Skrtel, even better with Sakho though.

Sterling and Moses, with Henderson behind them just screams that we're going to get no control in the middle of the park unless we really push them backwards and get Gerrard further forward. None of Henderson, Moses or Sterling really like people to come close to them while in possession so we could be stuck playing in front of Hull for a lot of this match.

Hopefully an early goal, draw them out and then we will have the tools to hit them on the break.

As others have said, why Alberto can't get a game I don't know, more mystery about the Brendan Rodgers transfer policy, but that's left for another thread.

The line-up is somewhat strange. No Coutinho.  The way we play so far, we are simply asking for trouble.

Massive gap between our midfield and attack. Hendo or Gerrard need to push up.

Yep, they're very happy for us to play in front of them, settling as I expected to be honest.

Well I'm certainly not feeling as confident as I was. It's early in the match, but I don't think we look very composed.

If we don;t punish them early and they score, we'e gonna be in trouble. It's so painful to watch henderson play.

Suarez already dropping to the halfway line to get the ball, highlights our inability to play through them. Moses and Sterling staying too wide for this formation. If they are going to stay that wide Hendo and Gerrard need to push up and actually want the ball, Gerrard staying too deep and Henderson not really doing much so far. Think he's trying to support the attack but it's all been running so far.

Skrtel needs to stop with the wrestling at corners, we will give away pens for that.
