Hull City Tigers 3-1 Liverpool: In game and Post Match Debate
      Dec 01, 2013 01:03:09 pm

Mignolet, Johnson, Toure, Skrtel, Flanagan, Lucas, Gerrard (c), Sterling, Henderson, Moses, Suarez

Subs: Jones, Agger, Alberto, Aspas, Coutinho, Sakho, Allen

Victor Moses and Raheem Sterling start for Liverpool in today's Barclays Premier League clash with Hull City.

Brendan Rodgers makes three changes from the team that started last weekend's Merseyside derby, with Kolo Toure also returning at the KC Stadium.

Meanwhile, Philippe Coutinho has been named among the substitutes after a high ankle injury prevented him from training at Melwood this week.

Iago Aspas is also on the bench.

54 years ago today, the man who would revolutionise Liverpool Football Club, Bill Shankly, was appointed manager.

a lot of players getting injured in training lately. I think they need to calm  down in training.

Expected one of Sterling or Moses to start, but not both of them. Good to see Aspas back in the squad.

      Come on Reds!!!!

Sakho the poor lad must be on a real downer after his high for his country. BR knows best though.

Hope we see a good showing from the lads and Moses and Sterling put pressure on the boss to keep selecting them in a rare start for both.

If he's a so called 'lazy ass' who Brendan would never want in his team, why would he have taken him on loan? Bit of a silly statement...

      Gerrard, Lucas, Henderson.

Good to see they've "earned" their starting places again.

      FFS

Alberto must be thinking he is really sh*te if he can't get in the team ahead of one of those three.

Not feeling comfortable about this one. Just when we were starting to click we get a monstrous injury. God damn it.

This match is now all about Moses and Sterling stepping up and showing how good they can be. They are the difference between a result, I fear.

Funny how when Sterling first broke through he was SEVENTEEN.  He was brilliant and blowing defenders off the pitch and everyone was talking about how young he is and how we have to develop him slowly and be patient and not overdo it.

Now he's at the ripe-old pensioner age of 18 and has trailed off a bit and some are already calling it his "last chance."

      oh dear.

Certainly a weak squad out today BUT this is Hull and we should have the firepower to dismantle them.

We have Suarez. Doesn't matter who is around him, he'll do the business.

Just get out of his way when he's running at goal and look for him at every chance.
