Just a thought, but could it be that Spurs could have had their few years as a big club, and could now go the same way as Blackburn, Leeds, Newcastle ect, eg teams that challenged for a few years, had runs in Europe, then fell away?
I've grown to dislike Spurs in the last couple of seasons, and wouldn't be disappointed to see them Feck off back to. mid table obscurity where they belong.

I think we'd all love this but quite honestly I don't think so. Spurs will only get better, especially if they bring in a good manager like de Boer or Hoddle. With players like Dembele, Vertonghen and Soldado, and young talent like Lamela, Townsend, Walker and particularly Eriksen, they will grow as a team. We won't need to worry about that though, we'll be looking down at them from the top.

That really is scary, in a supposed civilised society there should be a psychotic condition that is a source of amusement and apparently an accepted entity to considerable number of people.

      They wont mate.
Bale money was a one off.
Their egos and overextended ambition are bigger than they or their income can sustain.
Wheres the ticket money ?  It isnt there.
They must have the CL income sh*t or bust ....and it could be bust Mr Levy.
Your face physically drained at the end of the match.

Spurs won't get de Boer. He has even said he's staying at Ajax and I don't blame him. A title challenging Champions League side or a sinking mid table club with mediocre players who will be lucky to secure a Europa League place? Haha they must be deluded if they think he's coming to North London.

Another bit of bad news for Dirty Levy.

Tottenham had private eyes snooping over everyone re the Olympic Stadium bid.
Looking for someone to slip up.

Couldnt even bid for that on merit.

      Denied of course.
