I understand not risking Flanno for this but still doesn't change the feeling of Navas v Cissokho. Lucas also doesn't have the pace to deal with Navas, we're going to have to get tight to him on every opportunity in midfield and try to cut off the supply. 

It's hard when they have so many threats and my optimism for this match just took a knock.

The results have gone reasonably well for our top 4 hopes but pretty poorly for our title aspirations this weekend. Win takes us top, draw and we're 2nd, 4th if we come away with nothing. Ask yourself if going into the new year you'd have taken any of those and at worst be 3 points off top spot, I think we'd all take the position we're in now.

Now get out there and F***ing smash 'em!

I don't mean to be so negative here but Aly Cissokho is going to get ripped to pieces down that side! I really can't see us keeping a clean sheet and I fully expect them to score after exposing Cissokho.

The media are making this out to be just City v Suarez - it's actually starting to piss me off.

Hope Hendo, Coutinho, Allen and Lucas have something to say about that.

I think he has more than made amends for any bad things he done against the Bitters.

Pressure is eased a little with the bitters and spuds dropping points. Man U and Arsenal could have easily dropped points as well, oh well.

None the less I expect at least a point here, hopefully Cissokho can prove us all wrong, he'll have a hard time dealing with Navas though.

I would have preferred Toure or Agger to Cissokho, but apart from that a good team. Glad Dzeko isn't starting, because with our problems I think we would struggle with his heading ability.

I would really like us to win this one but not as confident as I once was.

Pellegrini is a hell of a manager, would have loved him to have been the one that replaced Rafa. Remember Pepe Reina saying he recommended Manuel to the club. Let's hope his current team get ripped apart today
