Apparently the new training kit will be sponsored by Garuda and is reportedly worth £32m over two years. Great piece of business if true.

Genuinely thought that was the New Zealand cricket team posing for a photo for a moment!

As if Sakho wasn't intimidating enough. Put him in all black and he looks even more menacing.

There is no apparently about it.  Deal was done in January and starts in June for 2 years.

£32M seems quite a big figure though - maybe it's in dollars?

I've only seen a tweet and a comment on another forum about how much the Garuda deal is worth but they also say £32m over 2 seasons. So, until the end of the 2015/16 season we will receive £8m per season from Dunkin' Donuts, £16m per season from Garuda and £20m per season from Standard Chartered. Very impressive work from those involved at Liverpool, despite what some may say about the owners, they really have brought us into the 21st Century sponsorship wise.

About the new training gear, I'm glad they've stopped with that tribal nonsense. Really didn't like that at all.

If true astonishing that Standard Chartered have extended for two years on the same money but given up training rights.

And also astonishing that a training kit deal can be worth practically the same as the kit.

Can't wait to see what Ian Ayre does with the money.

So basically with TV money and the other 'partners' we've amassed since FSG came in we're raking in £200m a year?

No wonder BRs saying we don't need loan deals any more. All we've got to do now is get Ayre to spend some of it.

He's like the kid with a quid who likes to go into the world best sweet shop and tries to get a ten pence mix for a penny and storms of sulking if he can't.

I'm all for wise spending but if he fucks this transfer window up then they need to appoint a wiser negotiator as the repercussions could be huge for next season. You can't build an empire without greasing a few palms.
