Just got a call up for the Aussie squad.

Great news. I hope it's because he's seen as good enough and it's not like the Harry Wilson & Wales joke show where he was called up just so England can't in the future.

Fantastic news mate but hasn't he already got a few caps?  Or was that for the youth team?

He had a handful of caps before but they weren't really meaningful if I recall correctly.

Been away from the international side a while though for some reason. Not like we have anyone for that position to rely on either.

      Hoping he takes the chance.

I'm sure he will mate, he has with us.

He's had a few injuries in the last couple of seasons maybe they coincided with internationals and that's why he's not featured.

Good to see Brad get two games under his belt, although not against the best quality opposition.  Harry Redknapp liked the look of him in last nights game apparently and sees a big future for him.

'Arry needs to tell his players to stop assaulting the opposition on the field.

Was at the Socceroos vs Tajikistan match in Adelaide, absolute cracker of a player to watch live. Unassuming in his role, but gets stuck in and pops up everywhere. Aussies absolutely smashed them and he was amongst it all night, great to see.

If we are aiming for a higher position in the premier league then Brad Smith is the last thing we need. At 22 he's not getting any younger and he hasn't shown, much improvement over the past while. He has pace but his ball control and tendency to give away the ball make him and Kevin stewart a liability in my eyes.

You still need back up squad players though and the only way those players improve is by getting games.

Klopp has obviously seen enough of him then. For every one we take from Southampton we give one back to Bournemouth :)

I agree. I actually rate his attacking play in the final third more than Moreno!!

Good luck to him if he decides to leave!!

Buy back clause included too.  We're getting pretty good at this selling our youth for decent money but protecting ourselves in the process malarkey.
