Are Everton better than us?

They are definitely a better team now under Martinez.

We need to play to our strengths against the bitters, 4, 4, 3 (with Sterling on the bench and Coutinho free as a bird). No need to change the winning formula but ...

The table doesn't lie. We are above them, yeah it's only by a point but we still are the better team.

I agree with most that have posted so far

Everton are a better balanced team atm and I think we'll have a very tough job winning against them next week

But I think we as a group and a club have more potential

Last 11 matches with them we are 5-2-4.

I'd say we are roundly better, especially taking into account the game last season that we got screwed on the offside call on Luis.

Their full backs would get in our side but that's about it. Baines is great getting forward and Coleman has to be one of the most improved players in the league. If we had that quality in those positions i'd be loving life!

It comes down to expectations though and having bottle. I think this where we will have the edge on them. A win last night would of put them 4th and above us but they couldn't do it.

Everton are in form the past 2 years no doubt, punching above their weight. They have made some good signings and their whole team is playing well. We are in consistent to good form for the first time in years with only half the team at best playing well and we are still higher than them in the table. That alone speaks volumes. If we can hit top gear with the whole team playing to the best of their ability we'd wipe the floor with Everton.

One thing is for sure though they are better than the Scum

If we put out 4 defenders instead of the usual 0 then who knows we would not need Mig. 

I would say there is not a lot in it, considering what they spend that is a massive compliment to Everton. All bullshit aside it is a miracle they are 1 point behind us, and ahead of Man Utd. They have something going for them you must admit it.

Our defense is our main problem and by that I mean the back 7 because Danny\Luis\Raheem\Philipe have been outstanding for most of the season.
