Liverpool and Cardiff have entered the race to sign Blackpool winger Tom Ince.
The Seasiders have given Ince, who is out of contract at the end of the season, permission to discuss a loan move to a Premier League side and he has already held talks with Swansea City and Crystal Palace.
Now Liverpool, who sold Ince to Blackpool back in 2011 for an undisclosed fee, and Cardiff have registered their interest.
Ince is unsure about a return to Anfield following a lack of first-team opportunities first time around but is expected to hold talks with the Reds in the next 48 hours.
Cardiff officials will also meet with the England Under-21 ace, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hoping to make Ince his seventh signing this month following the arrivals of Norwegian trio Magnus Wolff Eikrem, Mats Moller Daehli and Jo Inge Berget, Stoke striker Kenwyne Jones and Manchester United pair Wilfried Zaha [on loan] and Fabio.

Liverpool have now made an enquiry for Ince, who began his career at Anfield before moving to Blackpool in 2011.
The 21-year-old England youth international is set to leave Bloomfield Road in January or in the summer when his contract expires, although the Seasiders will be due compensation.
Ince met with Swansea on Monday and is set for talks with Crystal Palace on Tuesday, while Hull, Sunderland and French giants Monaco have also been linked.
Liverpool considered a move for Ince in the summer but were seemingly put off by Blackpool's £8.5million asking price.
However, with the winger out of contract in the summer the Championship side have been forced to lower their valuation and the Reds could well move to the front of the queue for his services if they decide to make a formal offer.

The 21-year-old looks set to leave Blackpool after they gave him permission to open talks with a number of Premier League clubs.
Ince, along with his father Paul, met with Swansea on Monday and he is due to meet Crystal Palace on Tuesday, while Stoke, Hull and Sunderland also want to talk terms.
But now news of Liverpool's renewed interest could see them emerge as favourites.
Ince began his career at Anfield before his move to Blackpool in 2011, where he has risen to prominence as one of the best players outside the Premier League.
Liverpool had looked at landing him last summer, and now they have rekindled their interest following their failure to land Mohamed Salah.
French giants Monaco also remain keen on Ince, who could move to the principality outfit for just a moderate compensation fee at the end of the season.
http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/media-watch/sky-sports-reds-back-in-for-inceI really like this guy from what I've seen of him but to be honest I haven't watched him for a while and don't know how he's been doing this season for a struggling Blackpool side. His contract is supposed to be in the final months and his dad being sacked from the manager's post probably doesn't help Blackpool to keep him either.
