That doesn't make sense mate.  He's out of contract in the summer so has the right now to find a new Club.  It's a very important move for him so he needs to know what's on offer.

He can discuss terms with foreign clubs, but English clubs have to wait until, and here my memory slips a little, March or May before the can sign a pre-contract.

Agree he is not the central player or the full back we need so desperatlely but he is a decent prospect so I've got no problem if he comes in just so long as the other areas are addressed.

Besides he would be an upgrade on Aspas and Moses as far as I an see.

Agreed. People are angry for other reasons so the player itself is hardly being discussed. Personally I also think he's a decent prospect, and one that we could get without many spotlights so that he can slowly become a part of the team. I said so when we were first linked to him, and I say it again, that I would love to have him rotating with Sterling.
He obviously isn't the solution to any of our problems but signing Ince shouldn't stop us from doing any other deals, really.

He'll be loaned to keep the bench warm so it looks like we have a boss bench. Not arsed if he is brought here or not it's about depth but I don't rate him that's why no club has gone sniffing around for him other than ourselves these past few seasons.

that might be too subtle for a few people mate.

You's a bit of a tune from that album!

Can't see us winning Ince over either. Pitiful transfer window.

I'm happy two of you got it!

So we've resorted to battling Stoke, Swansea and Cardiff for a Championship player that we couldn't hold on to when he was 18.

We really have become a small club.

we aren't battling them for Ince. our name is now thrown into the ring like the Welsh clubs. Ince has his agents pissing all over the place, putting the kids name out there, and it was inevitable that we'd be linked to him again. I believe we would buy him back if we wanted to, loan is out of the question.

think your other comments are a bit strange - you say we "couldn't hold on to him" when we couldn't give him what he wanted and he was pushed to look elsewhere. it's not like he was Mascherano.

LFC is a huge, huge club no matter what and we are coming back to the good days. I don't know why people are so unhappy and brainwashed that they somehow think we've ~become a small club~ temporarily for 5 years or something. When an Ajax or an AC Milan struggle mid-table, rebuilding after big sales for a couple of years, do their fans go haywire like this and call themselves a small and pathetic club and hate on themselves?? maybe? not too sure. I get the idea they're proud, they' might be miserable at the moment and whine about the state of things, but I don't think they're stupid. we should be proud, not idiotic.

wtf do Blackpool get out of loaning out their best player who has 6 months on his contract?

Typical Cardiff had an £8M deal done for him of which we would have got 35% and he pulled out

Offer a £2 Million take it or leave it bid... Not a player we need, but could do a job - however needs to realise he is not the best winger in the UK ever...

His father slagged off this honoured club something terribly.

That's a bit harsh mate , what comes out of his 'ol' mans gob has nothing to do with Tom, he's his own man and won't have the same opinion I'm sure,

Tbf I wouldn't mind him back, he's more experienced now and with proper guidance could evolve into a world beater,
He's a better prospect than Moses IMO and fits into Brendan's ideal he will also provide healthy opposition for Sterling, Ibe etc,

I would have thought after weighing up his options LFC would be high up in his considerations,
It will of course all depend on the dithering antics of our very own Hells Angel 'Ayre'.

Surely if Ince was any good he'd have been back here long ago considering how little it would end up costing us given the sell on clause.

Who the hell has he ended up going to anyway?

Looks like he's screwing everyone over.

He wants a loan deal which means he's a free agent in Summer to go wherever he wants.

No money to Blackpool, no money to us for a sell on fee, big money in his signing on fee as he won't have cost a penny to buy.
