I'm sure I heard "Justice for the 96" being sung at WHL yesterday mate.  Can't be sure as I'd dozed off (it was a boring match) and woke up to it but I might well have been dreaming.

I'm going to be attending for the first time, humbled that it's on the 25th anniversary.
Sorry to ask such questions but Please could someone tell me what the situation is regarding parking given that I'm out of town?
Do the normal match day parking areas all open or is it easier to park in the centre and catch a bus?

We've always parked on Stanley Park mate or at least I think we do.  There's always security there, it's free and there's always plenty of spaces if you get there early enough.

I'm coming with a colleague (she got the tickets but her other half can't get the time off) so apart from the fact I'm driving so I will be on pop I'm sure we are up for meeting on the pub

Barnsley to Liverpool and back again on the 15th, then back to Wigan for work on the 16th back to Barnsley on the 20th to come back again on the Monday is just too much nowadays.

Games delayed in Hillsborough tribute

Every match in the top five leagues in England will kick off seven minutes late on 11-14 April to mark the 25th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster.
Fixtures include the FA cup semi-final on 12th April between Wigan and Arsenal which will start at 17.07 BST.
Hull face Sheffield Utd at 16.07 BST the next day in the second semi-final.
The plan applies to all Prem. League games, Football League and Conference games the FA said.

Watched the tribute tonight what a fitting tribute on a special day well done to all the ones who went and made it special for the families .                        YNWA.

Hope that the service brought the love , support , comfort and hope that the relatives of the 96 deserve.

It was for me, like all of us a very emotional day

I listened to the service on the radio as i drove into work this morning in LA.

What a beautiful service.

I wore a black shirt and my beloved 35 year old Liverpool scarf even though it was very hot....and i couldn't have been any prouder of those who attended, spoke and represented our family.

I explained to a fair few of my american colleagues the significance and the tragedy that affected all of football and all went away today with new found anger, sadness and pride for what the great city of Liverpool endured and continues to due to the incompetence of those whom are meant to safe guard us all.

25 years later it still feels as sad and ridiculous as it did all those years ago.
Today, all of the rational world became one.

Thank you to LFC, Liverpool and the football community as a whole.

My heart breaks for all who grieve every day.

Just got to see the reapeat of the service last night and it was a beautiful and fitting service for the 96 and their families.

Missed the service yesterday due to work, though still went and had meself a minute silence. Watched what they could show on LFC TV when I got in and it never gets any easier.

RIP to all 96.

Haven't had time to see the full service, but watched Martinez and Brendan's speeches.....class.

What a beautiful day it was yesterday......beautiful in a sad way but also very moving and uplifting.....there seemed to be a little bit more happiness at Anfield yesterday, so many people had joy on their faces......justice is coming, we will never give up until it does.

Roberto Martinez spoke very well and so did Brendan, he's really endeared himself to the Liverpool people and we regard him as one of us now, a true adopted Scouser. Andy Burnham's reception was an awful lot better than the last time he spoke at Anfield, this time he received applause from all round the ground.

Honoured to have been present on such a momentus day.

My little nephew was actually on the pitch playing with Luis today. Will post some pics later.

He is one happy boy. Three pics on the Liverpool website of him. Cracker of him and Luis doing a high five.

Life memories. So happy for the kid, he's had a hard start to life and things like that today are so, so special.
