Snap Happy - The best pictures you've taken with a camera!

Everyone takes pictures, all the time. This topic aims to showcase the best pictures you, personally, have taken and why.
What makes the picture special? The right place at the right time? A special effect or perhaps it needs no explanation at all... it's just that good!

Got to be one of my young cousin, and in the background is the sun setting with beautiful palm tree's to be seen.



I'm a big lover of taking photo's, thats why I've got a new digital camera from Sony Cybershot. This picture was taken with my old Samsung E900 phone which was 2mp with a terrible lens. Imagine what a 7.2mp Sony digital camera with a quality lens could do! I'll have to wait until next year!

What a saddo I am .................On sunday the missus, me and a couple of the kids went to Calderstones Park to walk off are dinner. I took the camera along to take some pics of the kids, climbing trees etc, but I ended up taking mostly pictures of the park itself. I love Calderstones Park. It is a rather large chunk of countryside, slap bang in the middle of urban South Liverpool, and on a warm October afternoon I was knocked out by the colours of the various foilage (the missus told me to put that bit in) Anyway when i came home and downloaded said pictures on to the Lap Top, the long haired one said I should send this one off to North West tonight. As they are always asking viewers to send in their pics to accompany the local weather forecast, after a lot of umming and arring I did, and I was amazed and a little embarrassed when it was broadcast last night (Monday 15th) before the weather forecast................ ...David Bailey..........Ive sh*t em !!!


P.s.....As I am probably the only person in Liverpool that actually watches B.B.C. North West Tonight (Gordon Burns don't you just love him) No bugger I know saw it, including the Missus or Kids, so know one believes me when I say it was on. Ah well famous one minute a nobody the next.

I didn't take the first picture..as it's of me on my birthday night while on holiday in Bermuda. A cake was brought out by the waiter of the Indian restaurant we were in & this was placed on my head...tradition I was told!

Second one is again in Bermuda but where I watched with my fellow RED MEN supporters the Liverpool games. Docksiders is the official meeting place for the LFC Bermudian supporters group of which I am now a member...

Not at all!! Calderstones Park is lovely. Always good to walk your dinner off in there! Nice pics mate. And keep an eye out on the NWT website. They put the weather pics up on there. Just had a look and the last one was dated from last Friday (12th). So yours will be up there soon!!

Not the case though!! They showed it again on todays lunch time BBC North West news The Messiah!!!!! I seen it!!!

Thank god somebody else has seen it, I was beginning to think I had imagined it 

Best photo I've actually got is one someone took of me with the attaturk in the background on THAT day  , also cos I look a slim f**ker 

Also got some cool photos of the rockies in montana and of Yellowstone Park, couldn't find yogi though
