In 90 minutes we have the chance to remain 2nd and create a points difference in favour of us over them that I haven't seen in my lifetime.

      I have .

Scum relegated in the Seventies.   Farrell , Docherty and all those eedjets.

Can't wait to see Sterling tear them a new one.  I hope they put in Ferdinand and Jones.... Sterling will dance around them.  I love his swagger at the moment and that he doesn't go missing when we're away.

I would still start Coutinho ahead of Joseph.  I know Coutinho disappears sometimes away from Anfield but I think this time it's worth the risk---we need his creativity, even if it is only half of what he shows at home.  A couple of key passes could be the difference as they'll be up for this and this will be a huge pride match for them.

Same midfield and back four for me.  If Enrique is on the bench I'd like to see him get some minutes---we've missed him.

Pretty sure Gollum will start Vidic, alongside I'm guessing it'll be Smalling. Jones/Fellaini and Carrick in the middle. Remains to be seen who, between RVP & Welbeck, will start

They'll be up for this BUT F**k, we will  be up for this even more. A chance to finally put a nail in those cu*ts coffin won't be missed by our lads. Go there, get the 3 points and get the F**k out of there. That's all we want. Cherry on top would be smashing those cu*ts and having their crowd leave at the 60 minute mark.

Mignolet, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Flanagan, Gerrard, Henderson, Coutinho, Sterling, Suarez, Sturridge

Although Allen was impressive last game, I'd be more inclined to play Coutinho for tactical reasons. We are nearly at full strength here, and have established our own style of play. I can't see why we should lose to a disjointed Man Utd team. We just need to remain confident, and also loyal to our style of play. We are better than them, we just need to express it.

      Mignolet

      Johnson Skrtel Agger Flanagan

      Gerrard
      Henderson Coutinho

      Suarez Sturridge Sterling

Go for the juggler and get the game over by half time! My prediction originally was 3-1 and I'm going to stick with that. Suarez (1) and Sturridge (2) with the goals.

Don't get confidence mixed up with Stupidity. Yes, we are better than them but this is a cup final for them - they'll do their utmost to upset our chase for the title. I think we'll win, but not by such a margin.

I hope it's me who ends up looking stupid and you a complete genius, though! ;-)

If we get to the stage in the match where we metaphorically have our foot on their throat, I want the lads to press down harder, til they turn blue and die.

      Metaphorically of course.

If we get on top, keep hitting them and hitting them.
      Destroy them.

A win, a clean sheet and Evra, Rooney and RVP all breaking their leg Cisse style would be the perfect result.

      So brutal. So great. :D

Not one to get into the "favorites" debate between managers, however do believe this is the first time in a while I'm 100% expectant of maximum points out of the shithole that is the Manchester Opera House. We are clearly the better team, on form, there's no reason we can't get in there and run away with it based on the respective form lines of the sides.

But. Form is often not a good indicator when it comes to rivalry matches like these, so I expect some dog fighting. However if we stay fundamentally sound, no reason we should have anything less than three points in the bag.

      F***ing bring it.

As long as their players stick to moyes's plan, I can't see us having too much trouble.

I've never seen a man u side build so slowly and so predictably.
If they play like that, we'll do them.

I'd go back to the side from before the Saints game for this one and go for the throat.

I don't see their midfield as giving us as much to worry about as Southampton so drop Allen and bring Raheem back to terrorise their sh*te defense.
