Let's hope the funding will be in place to make sure LFC can build on the success of this season mate, if that doesn't happen the manager and the team's efforts will be entirely wasted.
I don't see any specific reason why this cannot happen. At the end of the day it's going to be mostly the club's money rather than FSG's, that's why i believe the stake will be higher the new season and more careleful moves are required, cause like you said the manager and the team's efforts can be wasted but this might as well go for the funding too if not well spent.
I agree with you that BR has the skill to choose players who can make the difference but this time he isn't building up a new squad or having to pass his football philosophy onto a mainly young team to go for a place in the first 4 in the domestic league. It's another thing having to make a strong side to compete big European clubs while having midweek duties at the same time almost every week.
That's why i have to believe that this is going to be a new test for the manager.
The best part of the money though has to be invested in structuring a strong solid defense(in center and right back the team hurts) coach included.
