It's just been reported on SSN that all matches from the Conference up to the Premier League on the the 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th of April will kick off 7 minutes later as a mark of respect to those that died at Hillsborough.

The Football Association has announced plans to delay kick-off times next month on the 25th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster.

All games between April 11-14 in the FA Cup, Premier League, Football League and Conference will begin seven minutes later than scheduled as a mark of respect to the 96 Liverpool supporters who died at the 1989 FA Cup semi-final.

Liverpool's game against Nottingham Forest that day was halted six minutes after kick-off as players became aware of the tragedy unfolding in Sheffield.

This season's FA Cup semi-finals take place at Wembley on the anniversary weekend.

Arsenal's tie with Wigan will now begin at 5.07pm on April 12, while Hull's game against Sheffield United will kick off at 4.07pm the following day.

A minute's silence will be observed before kick-off at all grounds.

At 3.06 there will be a minutes silence before matches start at 3.07.

It was six minutes into the Semi in '89 when the match was stopped.

I guess this will really piss Alan Davies off.

Nice touch, but I suspect it will mean more drinking time for most fans.

Typical chavs being totally ignorant as to why Hillsborough is different to all the other sporting tragedies.  Be interesting to see how other teams have reacted to the ko changes.
