      Friday's inquest proceedings:

      http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/hillsborough-inquests-david-duckenfield-hid-8839446

In his testimony Duckenfield said he had ''buried his head in the sand'' but now wanted to tell the truth.
The Hillsborough match commander apologised to the families of the victims, telling them ''It's now dawned on me what it means to you''.
He also said he had to seek medical help after being unable to ''bear the word Hillsborough''.

WOW, just read that on a local paper. He fully admitted he was responsible of the deaths of 96 people. "A child of medium intelligence would have known the outcome of openning the gates" Paul Greaney said

Barry Devonshire's son Christopher was 18 when he was fatally injured along with 95 other supporters on that fateful day in 1989.Mr Devonshire confronted Duckenfield as he left the court and asked him why it had taken so long for him to apologise for his role in the disaster, Mr Devonshire said ''he apologised to me and said 'I can't say any more'.

Well someone took the fall and next should be Journalists and Politicians. I know it's far too late but in light of MI5 keeping secrets on pedos which most of us knew then the flood gates are opening, because through the freedom of information available on the internet, word gets around a million times as fast.
The Sun next. Has that been resolved legally? I remember something happening but was it enough?

Policing expert Douglas Hopkins described a ''perfect storm'' of events leading to the Hillsborough disaster adding that it was ''unwise'' to appoint Duckenfield as police match commander weeks before the tragedy.

      Officer's disaster report queried
A police report ''exaggerated'' how late it was when fans arrived at the ground, said a senior officer involved in writing it.

Former S. Yorkshire Ch Supt Terry Wain led the SYP team writing the report which was being prepared for a public enquiry into the disaster.
The inquests jury was also told the report stressed how alcohol affected supporters.
The report however did not include references to senior officers losing control or criticism of police leadership.

Further to the above former Ch Supt Terry Wain has admitted a memo he wrote asking for evidence of ''unruly behaviour'' was an attempt to denigrate Liverpool fans, thereby instigating a campaign to discredit the club and the people of Liverpool.
The former high ranking police officer who compiled a report for a public enquiry accepted S.Yorkshire Police Authority had behaved ''disgracefully''.
He told the inquest he could not remember sending the memo which was written in July 1999 less than a year after the tragedy.

A former police chief who oversaw the vetting of officer's evidence has admitted some statements were removed.
Retired Ch Inspector Donald Denton said he could see ''no reason'' why some accounts interfered with.
The jury were also shown how statements of criticism of senior officers, lack of manpower and poor communication were altered or deleted.

Some of this testimony is nothing short of jaw-dropping.

Bettison wrote much of the section which attacked LFC fans.
Bettison who the establishment chose to reward with a knighthood for his vile lies described the Liverpool supporters as ''drunken animals''.

These people admitting wrong doing now or saying statements were interfered with, where were they 26 years ago, 25 years ago, 20 years ago etc?? Now that the walls are closing in they gladly spill the beans but why would they not do it at the time when the families of the dead and the people of Liverpool needed them to come out with the truth?

As guilty as the rest in my opinion
