First of all, great great respect towards Roberto Martinez and all at Everton and associated with the club. Genuinely incredibly touched and humbled by Martinez's speech and the actions of Everton in general. Thank you.

But unfortunately, Rupert Murdoch's Sky News censored Martinez's speech as he 'went off script' and they had to 'distance themselves' from what he said as the news anchors talked over his speech.

Absolutely disgusting - I watched his speech on BBC News who were delaying the service yet never cut out anything he said. These leeches will do anything to stop the truth and justice.

The opening bit had me a bit teary.

They did so with Andy Burnham's brilliant speech. There is a man with grace and conviction - a proper politician yet Sky News thought they should deny us that rare example. How very sad.

Are Sky serious? That is pathetic, cowardly and dimwitted.

I watched Andy Burnham's speech, also just rewatched the one from 2009.

So much anger in the crowd not directed at him personally but for the institution he represented. He has done wonders the last five years, and today was the polar opposite.

Me too, I thought he did Everton and Liverpool proud today. As a City we are so fortunate to have Brendan and Roberto leading our 2 great Football clubs.

Lfc-tv have heavily edited Martinez's speech. Looks like they don't want to incur the wrath of the inquest for broadcasting something they shouldn't.
