An inspiration to anyone with a fight on their hands.  Dedication, love, devotion and unwavering strength in the face of every adversary.  Anne never gave up.

Rest in eternal peace with Kevin at your side, there will be justice.

Thoughts with the family she left behind.

It's people like Anne, and there are many many like her, who I believe are the uncounted losses to the Hillsborough disaster.  The numbers past the 96.  I am sure certain that the incredibly long struggle, often alone, ultimately affected her health.

One of the most inspirational figures around. The dignity she had was astounding. Who knows where the campaign would have been without her. Thoughts are with her family.

My wife and I watched the ESPN special on Hillsborough last night (me for the 2nd time) and I remarked something very similar. Another real tragedy being the amount of effort these people had to put in to fight day in and day out for justice, you know it took it's toll and it's immensely sad that it was necessary and because of it, likely the grieving and closure process has drug on for 25 years which as you said, ultimately has affected them all.

RIP Anne.

Knew for sure Maxine Peake would be emotionally involved in the campaign.
In the last part of Anne’s story she was talking to Anne’s family and actual survivors and their families,
after saying that only somebody with her attributes could have engaged the role so realistically.

The other thing that needs sorting is Yvette Cooper throwing her F***ing oar in and trying to tag the Hillsborough Law onto the Police and Crime Bill. It's as if she is doing it to stop Burnham getting aby ideas of being a future labour leader.

The fact Labour are diving in and are tying the Hillsborough Law to a bill that at least one of the characters in the "Anne" programme had campaigned and spoke against, is sick beyond words.
