Gerrard takes down Ba because in my opinion he could have and we hold out for a 0-0.

We then beat Palace and Newcastle and if we cant win them without him its all the one.

      Discuss.

If Stevie had fouled Ba without a doubt he would of got a red card straight off.

I don't understand the reason behind your question.

I honestly don't think he had a choice, he lost so much momentum by slipping that he was never in range to even hack him down from what I saw.

If the option was there I'm not sure it would have been the right choice either. So many assumptions being made that we would have held out for 0-0 for a start. Don't forget we'd have been without him for the rest of the season not just that game and Migs still had a chance to save it, so no I don't think bringing him down would have been the right choice even if it was an option.

Don't think he was close enough to take him down. Think if he hadn't slipped he could of won that with a fair challenge anyway, of at least force him wide and allow Mignolet to make the save. Just unfortunate the way it panned out.

He was so far behind him after the slip I don't think he could catch him to bring him down.

      Definitely not.

They may have been awarded a penalty. If not, a free kick in a dangerous area and fat frank is capable of hitting one.

It was 45mins and we had a whole half to turn it around - we should have done, we are a better side than them!

And Gerrard lifting the title in a suit would be dog sh*t.

on the other hand he is not "dirty" player and that is why maybe it didn't even came to his mind.

Eventually everything falls to the right place and I'm sure he will get much deserved title in his career.

a whole new thread for an IF????

      The IFs don't play football.

Get over it. I know it's Monday morning and it is still fresh, but get over it.

Don't think this question deserves it's own topic, but discuss away in the match thread if you want.
