24 years distilled into 90 minutes

Ok, Ok. So my thought was, set myself lots of jobs. Lots of things to do this morning. That will keep me occupied. It'll keep me from getting nervous.

Yet here I am sat at the laptop doing exactly what I didn't want to do. Getting nervous. I feel like I've had about 6 coffees.

One of the biggest things about today is my feelings towards Chelsea. If I had the power to rid the league of one team it would be these men. Chelsea are the club that disrespect silences, sleep with fellow team-mates wives, and generally all act like Ashley Cole. That's aside from the fact that they are where they are because of money. Beside the fact that they are in the richest location in England probably. All this and I haven't even mentioned David sodding Luiz. They are as big a polar opposite of us as you could find in every single way. Then there's the history, the ghost goal, the plastic flags, Rafa. Then, Mourinho. No further comment there.

I don't actually believe in God, but this is probably the only game where for some unknown reason I pray in my head for a result. I hate playing Chelsea, its going to be horrible this to watch.

But I've got faith in us. I've probably watched 10-15 compilations this morning all of which have me so confident I just wish the game was now.

What we do have to remember is to enjoy it, we have had the privelege, unlike Chelsea fans, of watching the best team in most leagues in Europe this year. So as The Anfield Wrap's Neil Atkinson calls us, lets just enjoy watching the Tricky Reds do what they do best.
