Liverpool fans should get behind Atletico

We should throw our support behind Atletico in the champions league.

Yes it would be great to see them dump Chelsea out but there is a greater purpose for us to back Atletico above the others.

A club that has never won it but even more significant they have a manager who never won it. If any of the other 3 clubs win it, there managers, Ancelloti, Guardiola and the vile one will move on to being a 3 time winner of the European cup, a feat held by only 1 man, the great BOB PAISLEY

An incredible feat really when you consider the opportunity's were far more limited back in his time. To be in it you had to win your league or the European cup itself. No finishing 2nd 3rd or 4th in your league. No having 6 games to finish top 2 in a group to progress to the knockouts. No it was done the hardest of hard ways and the 3 were done in a 4 year period 77 78 81.

Chances are it cant last forever but lets wish it to last a little longer let us wish Bob to remain out on his own. So for the sake of SIR BOB....Come on Atletico!!

I am fully behind Atletico, been following their progress all season on and off, it's a great story; their position in the league. It hasn't happened through chance.
Personally I think you'll see a more direct attack of the Chelsea defence in the second leg, dirty tactics by Chelsea possible leading to a sending off of a Chelsea player.
I think and hope both we and Atletico win against them, I think we both will too, comfortably.

We don't have the means to address his negativity at this moment in time, we are weak width-wise which has been an ongoing issue for some, A. Madrid showed what happens when the faulted methods of Chelsea are addressed correctly.
Mourinho's singular modus operandi is so predictable, boring and countered with ease if the opponent has the means of stretching the wall.
