      Put it to bed Jose
      May 20, 2008 07:42:19 pm
If Garcia's goal hadnt crossed the line, the ref would have sent off Cech for bringing down Baros and a penalty given. We would have gone on to win comfortably, Cudicini's hardly a world class keeper.

I've been saying this to all Chelsea fans who think they were robbed back in 2005 and this story of the BBC Sport website supports it

Lubos Michel, who ruled Luis Garcia's effort had crossed the line when Liverpool knocked Chelsea out of the Champions League before winning it in 2005, will referee the game in Moscow. He has since said of the Jose Mourinho-dubbed 'ghost goal': "If my assistant referee had not signalled a goal, I would have given a penalty and sent off keeper Petr Cech."

I'm not sure what there is to discuss about this?

We all knew it was a goal anyway.  ;)

Is he still going on about this??? F**king get over it already!!!

We all know it was a goal, and Chelsea would have gone out anyway because we would still have beaten them.

Exactly and im sure we would have got atleast one more goal with cech off the pitch and cudicini in goal with them having 10 men on the field.

Its over we won they can get over it. We could say the same about this years semi, Hyypia was blatantly fouled in their box dont see our fans going on about it.

He had is chance in 2005 and 2007 and blew it. He can not get over the fact that he lost twice, and Grant (bugger) beat us. He is like that Scottish cu#t who can never admit defeat and congratulate others. Never his fault always some one elses, you know the type, Wenger is another. May he Sod off to Italian football or where ever he decides to rot.

I cant believe that the chav fans are still on about it, ffs if it was against us i would much rather of had the goal given than have reina sent off because there are more penalties scored than missed in football. Also it would mean you keep all 11 players on the pitch and dont have to sacrifice an outfield player as well as losing your best keeper and you still have a good chance of getting back into the game.

I think we should look for some chelsea forums and post a clip of the 'goal' ;)

Moments like that and you wonder why we have Voronin as the new number 10. God I hope he leaves this summer.
