      Pre-Match: Liverpool v Newcastle Sun 11th May 15:00
      May 07, 2014 10:45:15 am
Game number 38 of an amazing season is here and the title could yet be decided on this day.

City play Villa tonight and a win for City would mean they only need a point against West Ham to win the league, where as a draw or a Villa win would make things even more interesting on Sunday.

I think we will go with our strongest side:

      Mignolet

      Johnson
      Skrtel
      Agger
      Flanagan

      Henderson
      Gerrard (c)
      Allen

      Sterling
      Sturridge
      Suarez

Subs: Jones; Sakho, Toure; Lucas; Coutinho, Moses; Aspas.

This could be a farewell appearance for Johnson, Agger and Lucas and I would like to see all of them play some part.

Moses is also returning to Chelsea after this game, as well as Cissokho to Valencia.

I think we will win this comfortably and sign off this great season with a 4-0 win.

P.S - Me and my brother are driving up from East Sussex for the day to celebrate with other fans and maybe celebrate winning the league  8) Which are the best pubs close to the stadium to watch the game? Any suggestions would be brilliant, thanks guys.

Finally coming round after the sinking feeling of Monday night. What's happened has happened n I've jus about come to terms with but what I will not even entertain the thought of is not capitalising on it if city do slip up. If we win one game we could win the title, the players need to go out there with that mentality and batter them

Once again the fans are planning a mass gathering to greet the team coach prior to the game.  If ever the lads need to see how much we appreciate what they've done this season, it's this Sunday.

For everyone who is planning on being in Liverpool this Sunday please show up and give the lads one last boost, even if city do the unthinkable and win tonight they still have to do it all over again on Sunday.

      This isn't over.....

Go with our strongest 11, do what is required to win the game and keep that pressure on city

And rightly so, been fantastic this season the boys.

I hope in the ground we back them and not be too caught up in whats going on in the ethiad.

I have a fear were all dismissing Newcastle here. We have a job to do against a team that on there day can be good. Early goal be boss to settle everything down. Be great having Hendo back.

I agree mate.  We need one last push to hopefully see us home but we must make sure we do what we need which is to win the game and see what happens elsewhere.

Don't see any reason to change the team much. Henderson in for Lucas.

Migno; Johnno, Skrto, Sahko, Flanno; Gerrardo; Hendo, Allo; Sterlo; Sturro, Suaro
