Think that they'll be quite a few goals, in the game today. I just hope there in the same direction. Good luck to West Ham, hope they pull off a win at City, who knows !

Into the final hour of waiting. I'm really calm, wasn't expecting myself to be like this. Lets do what's needed of us then see what the football gods have in store. Surely we are due a favour from them?

Pretty calm with all things considering. We've thrown it away twice, maybe it's City's turn?

If not it's been a fantastic season anyway.

Whatever happens with the Sheikh Mansour XI I hope we batter Newcastle and finish strong.

I don't blame any particular person, it was the system and the pressure.

Brendan knows the score and always rectifies mistakes. I'm not going to question his selection.

I have a bad feeling this could be Agger's last game, that's why I wanted him to play and maybe that's why Rodgers is playing him instead of Sakho or maybe he wants some leadership at the back.

Regardless of no Coutinho, I'm liking the team. Have we had a Gerrard, Henderson and Allen midfield this season?

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce: "It's about showing we're committed to the end of the last game even though we're safe against what's looking like being the champions.
"For us a draw is like a win. You look at their record this season, they've scored 61 goals here and only lost to Chelsea so if we get a result it's about what we do for us, nothing else. It's 100 per cent professionalism and doing the best we can against an outstanding side."

Come on You Reds, what ever the outcome.  Bravo, hip, hip, hooray.   :ernaehrung004:

Great to see Agger back in the side.

The only thing we can do to put pressure on City is to get a goal early, even better to get a couple. Really the Palace result means though that is just about all the pressure we can put on them today.

It could be enough, we're all hoping it is but even if it turns out not to be this has been one hell of a season that has given us all massive hope for the future.

Enjoy your day redmen! Make the final home game a true reflection of how we've dominated teams this season 5-0 minimum and give the confidence a boost going into the close season.

Already watched Celtic (my local team) lift a league trophy today, here's hoping that I get to witness another. Seeing Liverpool lift that league trophy would far eclipse that, and any other memory i've ever had in football.

I think as long Suarez breaks the record, I'll be happy :)

I think the players will be a lot more relaxed today, and I expect to see a good game played

Right that's the wife's nephew's holy communion done and dusted - left her and the kids at the party - now settled at home in front of the telly.

      Let's do this!
