Why the hell would Sanchez wanna join Arsenal but not us? Can't get my head around that one.

This article doesn't state where he's getting is information from. So, Sanchez prefers a move to Arsenal but Barcelona are waiting to see if Juve can match 34m? I am calling BS on that.. why would Barca wait for Juve to match 34m if Sanchez wants to go to Arsenal.

      Because they want Vidal.

That's because you're a Liverpool supporter. Clearly destination and lifestyle choices coupled with what he sees as being best for his career means he does. The onus is on us next season to ensure he regrets any decision not to join us.

Hence the 'pinches of salt' comment above the article.

#LFC all but given up on Alexis Sanchez

At least that means £75m cash for Suarez

I'd love to know if we actually gave it a proper go to get him.

Nah we probably just texted him fancy coming over and he texted back.  FFS what do you think they have been doing over the last few days.

I heard Ian Ayre offered to give him a ride on his Harley if that counts?

If that's true, it's his loss. Have fun winning nothing.

Yeah, not going to fault the club on this one, came down to the player, so be it.

Shaqari, Moreno, Markovic and a couple more on the defensive side I should think.

If he wants to live in the capital that is his choice. Arsenal have Podolski, Giroud, Walcott, Cambell, Chamberlain who play as forward or wingers.... Walcott might not like being pushed out onto the wing. I think we should bid on Walcott.

Actually yes, Sturridge is surely our central striker.

To have a player who ( when he plays ), is constantly moaning about not being played in his preferred position is a no no for me.
That is not a team player, and nowhere close to be a Liverpool player.
I think the fame and fortune got to him which is a shame, or another phrase is arrogant tw*t.

Well they have practically the same goal scoring percentage but I very much doubt he'd leave Arsenal this Summer, not unless he was told he was surplus to requirements. Perhaps if he's not getting games he'd be more open to it next Summer but we need someone before then.

Sorry you dont understand my outburst mate, but as I've said, from what I've seen and read, he wants to play in his preferred position and not his manager wants from him. That to me is not a team player, dont get me wrong a good player, but IMHO not a Lpool player.

So did Sturridge. Does that mean he shouldn't be a Liverpool player?

Studge had the chance to finally cement his place in a good side, BR actually believed in him which is what he needed.
He'd been bandied about and playing good footie, but BR put faith in him. Why did we buy him for such a low price and how much would Walcott cost?

You think Walcott wouldn't? That's awfully presumptuous of you. As for how much he'd cost, I have no idea. I'm simply suggesting that I can think of worse players we could sign.

Going to be painful watching Sanchez tear it up next season. Can stomach losing out to a Chelsea or Dortmund last season but to lose out to Arsenal this with CL football seems harder to take - shows how far we have to go. If there's any whiff of Walcott being available I'm sure we'd be in for him

The city of Liverpool is losing out to the city of London, doubt either club has much to do with it except making the offer.
