It appears the same story is being covered because the source is a Swiss publication and regarded as having more credibility than the likes of Metro, Caught Offside and other more dubious outlets.

they were a f**king nightmare to deal with.. remember? remember the third party deals and all the bullshit the player would have to go through to get out of his deal? it clearly wasn't worth it to mess around with those people, not to mention they wanted more money then we thought he was worth.

it's not as simple as "well let's get the player out of there and bring him to a good environment", some players are literally impossible to get to our club, that's just how the cookie crumbles, they might have agents we don't want to deal with, people with bad reputations, people that look to rip off big clubs and just and up hurting their own clients (the players). some players are in a right mess and have no control over where they are or where they're going.
