Going by today's standards, I actually expected a bigger fee. But it probably wouldn't be fair on the player to play hardball when he never got a chance here.

Can't recall him being at Celtic

They were definitely linked with him before we snatched him up. I know a few Celtic fans who were pretty pissed off we bought him and he didn’t feature at all for us.

Waste of time signing him in all honesty. Made a nice little profit on him though.
