      Jealous.

Even after our great season I still feel a bit more jealous watching Real lift that than City lift the League trophy.

Congrats to Ancelotti - now has won big ears 3 times as a manager - same as Bob Paisley.

Not a bad achicement, generally a good bloke.

I like Ancelotti but didn't want him to equal Bob's record.

      Why did money always win?...
      Since our absent..
Bob's record is equalled, Real now has twice as many as European Cup than us... Bayern now has equalled our  five European Cup Titles.

Dortmund and Atletico should have won it :(

Mybe if he had a bit more class like Ancelotti things might have went better for him at Real.

I think we would have lost to Real. Atheletico really defended so well, I'm not sure we could have done that.

Possibly take it to penalties against Athletico and Sturridge to get the all important winner.

Good question that Bri. Personally believe Madrid's defence is better than ours and their attack is not as far behind ours. Would have been a great game but probably would have just edged it to Madrid 4-3.

Against Atletico, I couldn't see them scoring against us, but we probably would have struggled against them too, good chance that would have gone to pens. Once it's there who knows.

Football was the biggest loser and the scoreline didn't translate the true game and in the end money has influenced the scoreline .

Scoreline was a bit harsh, but Real Madrid were better the entire second half and in extra time. Personally, I really really feel for Atletico. I have nothing but respect for their success this season when you consider their squad cost €400 million less than Real's.

How much money does it take to select players that are fit? How much money is needed to put players on posts when defending corners in injury time? They even put defenders on posts at corners in park football. Rule 1 of defending corners ffs.

That aside, Real were clearly the better side and did pretty much all the attacking. Atletico simply sat back all evening, and attempted to hack their way to victory, picking up 7 yellow cards and lucky not to lose 1 or more players. As for Simeone, christ knows what he thought going on the pitch was going to do, but he was a nutcase as a player, and obviously hasn't mellowed much as a coach either.

      Football won.

Less money than the two hundred million it takes to buy just two members of your squad. Madrid bought the trophy, which they have openly stated was their intention many seasons ago. Atletico's effort to win la liga and be 2 minutes from thE CL crowd is amazing. Madrid achievement means absolutely nothing.
