      I love the TT races..
I'm fortunate to live about 150 yds from the TT course at Ballagarey (now named Ballascarey)..where they fly past you at 160mph as you sit on the roadside wall.. Mental !!
It's practice week this week but the sh*te weather has prevented the top riders from throttling it around the course at top speed..
Hopefully todays sunny dry weather has dried up any damp patches so tonight practice session should be quick !!

This Saturdays Superbike race is the one ! 6 laps of mayhem... followed by the 3 lap Sidecar race..

I'll ping some photo's up over the next week or so..

      Great stuff !!..

      Good man.

It is on my list to get over for the TT at some stage. Always get to the North West and the Ulster but the TT is a must for me in the next few years.

Yep... Practice session this evening confirmed..

Roads shut at 6pm with the first bikes down Bray Hill at 6.20..

You can listen to the commentary on Radio TT , just click on the Listen Live button and choose AM frequency www.manxradio.com

There's a few webcams been set up these last few years so i'll get some links up for yer too but the best coverage is from the ITV4 crew.

      9pm every night on ITV4..

      Love It...

The North West looks great mate from what i've seen on TV and You Tube but I suppose I've been spoilt living down the road from the 37.7mile course...so many places to watch from.. all brilliant vantage points as well.. and for free !!
The atmosphere over here is really starting to build up.. campsites getting busy and the place is buzzing now..

We have a great spot on the coast road for the North West as a friend has an apartment a few metre from the course.

The Ulster is another you'll have to try and watch on TV as it is fantastic as well. Fastest road race on the world.

Tragic... I watched this evenings practice and the top boys we're very quick with some average speeds of 128mph a lap.
alas, the course is very dangerous and I suppose you can say that they know the risks before they set off..

It does put a downer on the whole thing but the show goes on and they'll all fire up and let it rip around the course again tomorrow evening..

      RIP Franck

He was back on the BM tonight for practice hitting just over 128mph lap
Its Hutchinson who was the quickest in practice at just over 130mph a millisecond ahead of McGuiness..

Shaping up to be a cracking race on Saturday...

      Indeed.

Mickey's BMW Superbike has arrived on the island apparently.

He should be fast on it and even on the stock machine he was flying last night.

      Yamaha was "only" averaging 121mph.
He's said to have produced 130-131 on the BMW.

Puts him right back in the picture mate.

His Superstock time even has him sitting 4th if you put that among the Superbike times.

Another lovely day over here on the Island , perfect for practice.
All the top riders put some silly lap times in this evening so machines getting perfectly tuned for the now Mad Sunday Superbike Race at 2pm..
Clerk of the Course decided the winds we're gonna be too strong to race the Superbikes Saturday as planned.
Sidecars are good to go Saturday though..
Here's a pic I took today looking down towards Glen Vine we're I live, you can see the campsite full in the distance..The Bikes roar passed that Campsite at around 160mph..
