      He's an awesome rider.

As much as I like him though would love to see Dean clinch this one.

Deans back in front by 0.6 seconds.. mental..

Can you believe a tree has come down on top of a car at Ballig bridge just after Ballacraine so that's delaying things further..
Don't even want to think about what damage that would have done if it had've come down during a race !..

Agree. Michael looks to have got to grips with the Suzuki very quickly. Dan Kneen worth a look for a surprise podium.

Well I was wrong about the Superbike race but Dan got a podium just now on the Stock machine.

Great stuff for the local lad.

Not a good day for the road racing community over here on the Island these last couple of days during this years TT festival.
As srslfc mentioned in the RIP thread a dark day today..
I don't want to get embroiled in a debate over whether the TT should be banned but it is a worry when these, untimely deaths, create bad publicity of the 37.5m mountain course across the various media outlets.
Personally, I have lived here for 35 years and I can say that I have watched the TT pretty much every year since..
I think it's an amazing clash of man, machine, skill and endurance, one which, I still can't get my head around when I see them flying past me at 170mph..

Questions will no doubt be asked after today but so long as the riders want to take part year after year the Islander's will welcome them and the fans with open arms..

As crazy as it sounds right now.. two more full days of racing still to come..and the Island is buzzing with around 30,000 bikers enjoying the place and what it has to offer..

Ian Hutchinson crashed out of the 6 lap Senior at the 26th milestone on the 2nd lap.
      Race red flagged !
He was airlifted to hospital, conscious but has a broken leg, hope he's alright !

Race has just restarted as a 4 lap now.

Well, the TT races come to a close for another year..
Mickey D took the 4 lap Senior race after the re-start..
He did a 16m58sec lap today which is absolutely ridiculous around this course.
Big shout outs for the week go out to Dean Harrison and Dan Kneen, two young stars to watch out for at next years meeting.

I was at a works doo last year and got to meet Dan Kneen and had a quick chat to him.. Really nice fella, down to earth and I was made up for him when he got himself on the podium this week..

Respect also to the Clerk of the course Gary Thompson who had to make some difficult decisions with regard to the race schedules all week what with all the shitty weather we've had..
The weather plays a massive part especially when it could be sweltering sunshine at the grandstand yet mist and rain on the mountain section..
Safety comes first always..If the medical helicopter cannot land and take off up on the mountain it's a no go...

Thousands of Bikers heading to the ferry and a safe journey homeward bound..
I got talking to a few bikers at roadside today and they have already booked their tickets and accommodation back for next year which can't be bad. They all loved the atmosphere, the Island and of course, the racing.

TT2017 updates.... over and out.. ;)

Got out of work early so I've taken the chance and am on my way up to the North Coast for the evening races in the NW200.

Weather is glorious so should be a good night.

How did you get on mate? Good time watching in the sunshine?

We are halfway through TT practice week over here and already lap times are being broken.. nutz!
The weather forecast is looking good for another record breaking year 8)
Apart from a few showers overnight and tomorrow, next week looks perfect.

It's gonna be weird having no Hutchy or McGuiness this year but there are some talented new faces this year so who knows?

      Don't forget 9pm each night ITV4  ;)

Had a great evening mate and a fantastic spot just as Juniper Chicane where we seen Hickey makes his move to take the win from Seeley on the Stock.

Been following the TT coverage both on ITV and Twitter and some great times being posted and Dean Harrison looks like the man to beat on the big bikes this week.

      Died at the scene apparently.

I'm gutted mate, always am when something like this happens, but even more so as Dan was getting towards a possible TT win at some point.

Really popular local lad over here, he was always friendly and approachable for a chat, always smiling.
The Island has lost a son, far too soon. :(
