I think it comes down to the wages mate, all the reports have suggested that we haven't offered the money he is expecting and as a free transfer he can demand more his new club because they don't have to pay a fee. In some ways if you knew James Milner was pulling in 150k and Studge was on the same money for sitting on the treatment table every season you can understand he wants more. Whilst it's gutting not to get a fee for the player I won't particularly miss him. He's solid and occasionally he is excellent but he is also ponderous and immobile and that doesn't really work in a Klopp side. He should do well in Italy where the pace of the game will suit him down to the ground.

He has been a good utility player but I think he knows himself his games are already limited and with Keita coming in the summer he will have very little chance to play I reckon.

As others have stated he will walk it in Italy though.
