In all seriousness, I feel for the aussies. They gave it their all, got sod all from the ref (apart from a dodgy pen) and lacked a bit of quality when they needed it most.
Fair play to them, they gave Holland a bloody good run for their money, but they lack that little bit of extra you need at that level.

Spain in disarray all ready. Could be 1 down after 60 seconds.

They've been truly awful. An obliteration of aura and legacy in two halves of football? They've got one half to save it (and three goals to score).

Spain are in real trouble here. Even Alonso is giving the ball away. Real lack of character in this team, no one willing to step up when it's going wrong for them.

Chile though have really impressed me every time I've watched them, in this tournament and the England friendly.

He's going from bad to worse, the heat maybe getting to him.

He plays in Spain, I don't think it's that.

Could be just simply the team are not playing well, and he's trying too hard.

Question: Would we have him back?

      Answer: Yes.

I would say no, loved him when he was here, love him as a bloke he's a top chap, but think it would be a backward step. Love him back as a coach for the ressies though to be honest.

If he does not, I can not see any improvement.

Chile have a 2 goal cushion, Spain need the proverbial miracle.

Torres, this is your chance to be a hero.

I would take Costa off he is an old fashioned player playing in a team not suited for his style.

I think he's sh*t to be honest, adds nothing to the style of Spain, glad we never got him.

Some bloke I read an article about, think the magazine was in the GP's (Doctors) Surgery, so I think it must have been a fairly old article.
