Can someone tell Lawrenson that he is not funny, he tries to be a comedian but is as funny as cramp.

      Wow. Just wow.
      Robben is truly amazing.

Holland playing like a typical Van Gaal team. Those long passes for the forwards to run into are working to perfection, a bit like his Ajax teams.

Holy sweet Jesus. Hundreds of chapters will be written about this match.

Steve Wilson name dropped 'It's The End Of The World As We Know It' for the Spaniard. Surely he could have cited 'Orange Crush'??!

What an outstanding performance by Holland that was. If you're a Dutch fan you have to hope they haven't peaked too soon because I doubt we'll see a better performance in the entire tournament.

      Brilliant.

Was Bayern vs. Barca again ... power & pace ... incisive, clinical.
What is the opposite of clinical ? ... hold on, with ask Torres.
      They really crushed them.
Would drop Casillas and get Pepe in there, they need a good f***in shake. They can still get out of the group though I think...

What a performance by Holland. Just beautiful to watch. Could be more if Robben would not be that selfish. That is why I don't like him, but regarding football skills he is brilliant

You'd have to be a fool to choose Reina over De Gea to replace Casillas surely?

So - Spain to get knocked out at the group stage? Always fancied Chile to progress from the group albeit at the expense of the Dutch. Will have to reassess that.

edit: Also Torres once again reconfirmed his status as one of the most pitiful figures in world football tonight. What a pathetic individual.

      Brilliant.

That would be my main worry for them, I remember the 2008 Euro, they were breath taking in the group stage, played incredible football, then lost to Russia in the QF (or was it the SF?).

He's talented but ridiculously inconsistent. He's in one of his good days though, and when he's at it, he looks quite the player. Very good goal.
