Germany v Portugal. Weird team named by Low for Germany. Four centre backs.

Germany starting XI: Neuer, Boateng, Hummels, Mertesacker, Howedes, Lahm (c), Khedira, Ozil, Muller, Kroos, Gotze.

Portugal starting XI: Patricio, Alves, Pepe, Veloso, Coentrao, Ronaldo (c), Moutinho, Almeida, Meireles, Nani, Pereira.

      Should be a good one!

I fancy Portugal here, their side looks more balanced.

Low life piece of scum Pepe matching up to his reputation in getting sent off.

      Loving this.

Some fine German play-acting leads to Pepe seeing red.

Chiles making WAY too much of Muller's "play acting". Pepe tried grabbing his nose and clearly knew what he was doing - that's a red card offence in itself. Then his reaction was pathetic, just as pathetic as Adrian Chiles'. Idiot.

To be fair though mate it was still a red. Was terrible play acting I agree but Pepe is a nutcase and could have just thrown his world cup away with a moment of complete stupidity.

Great display by the Germans, I've been very impressed.

I really don't get the emotional states that Lee Dixon and Adrian Chiles are in. Play acting happens all the time in world football yet they're crying like a pair of bitches because Ronaldo's team mate has been sent off for head butting whilst blaming Muller for the head butt.

God I utterly despise Ronaldo's obsession with parading in front of the cameras. His celebration after scoring the penalty in the CL final was embarrassing. The 'look at me' vanity parades are sickening.

Adrian Chiles almost crying over Pepe getting sent off, must be his love child or something.

Of course Luke, it's the German drama-queens that really get on my tits.
Pepe's infamy goes before him and sticking his head in the guy's face is par for the course with him, even then the other lad acted like he'd been butted fully instead of it being a symbolic gesture.
Deserved red all day but the melodrama is not needed.

Yeah, 100% agree Stuey. Not sure what can be done though, do you book Muller for simulation?

Don't get how Ronaldo is deemed good enough to be a captain. Sure he's a quality player but he isn't a leader. His country are 3-0 down and he's spending most of the time walking around or moaning at his team mates for not giving him the ball. All about himself instead of trying to motivate his team and get them going.

The way he screamed for that penalty knowing the game is over just wanting a goal for himself then typified the spoiled brat didn't it? Selfish little f**ker who I've never liked at all.

Great performance by the Germans this, think losing Hummels will be a massive loss for them though.

He appealed for that more than the guy who got "fouled". Yet they will no doubt say he put a great shift in to try and turn it around, when in actual fact he's been cack!

Couldn't believe at 4-0 down Tyldesley did exactly that. Embarrassing level of commentary again.

You're spot on too mate, he's been absolutely dire.
