Superb stuff! Dempsey has been one of the players of the tournament for me so far. Sending that pr**k Ronaldo back to Madrid early would be beautiful!

Nah he's not, no disrespect to USA but they haven't got the talent that's in the Portugal team but their team ethic and work rate has given them this deserved lead.

The team is the star, no need to have a Ronaldo when you have that attitude. Ronaldo's attitude has dragged his team down.

Well in USA, hope you go on to win this.

It really would, I hate the arrogance on him but admire his talent. Best thing about being a one man team, if one man isn't performing, there is no team.

      I love Clint Dempsey.

I know I've said it countless times but I'm still pissed to this day Brendan wasn't allowed to sign him.

I always thought he could have done a great job for us too mate. Having to play Henderson in that role for a lot of the season hurt us immensely. The lack of goals showed too, Jonjo was playing striker for us for a few games :D

Im not. He did nothing at Spurs. He is a limited player. For me he is like Milan Baros. For country he is godlike, for club, not so much.

I knew there would be one.

12 goals in 43 games would have been very welcome in Brendan's first season.

However, if we had him, we wouldn't have Sturridge who would piss that.

Ouch that hurts. Need to play out a draw against Germany now for the USA.

Still a cracking result for USA that, they'd have took it before the kick off I've no doubt about that.

And there's why I can't stand Michael Bradley.....turns over an easy ball that he should have controlled and we get hit on the counter.

Yeah, was a moment of stupidity that.

I honestly think you'll get a draw with the Germans FL.

Actually we can get through with a loss on goal differential even if Portugal win. As long as they don't win by what 4 I think?

Unlucky but well done USA. You are all but through to the next round. 1 point is better than none.
