      2014-15 Ticket Prices

Surprised nobody has picked up on this.

Category A top price up from £52 to £59. (13.4% increase)
Lowest Category A price up to £46.
All European games priced as Category A games.
Domestic Cup fixtures against Premier League opponents priced at Category A.

I can't wait to see LFC try and charge £59 if we get Burnley in the 3rd round of the League Cup.

      Scandalous.

In 2009-10 the most expensive Premier League ticket was £39.  In 5 seasons it's gone up to £59.

A £20 increase in five years is ridiculous and with the top prices nudging £60 surely LFc will soon price many fans out of going to the game.

That really is too expensive for a game of football, when you can not be gaurenteed an entertaining game.

I remember when it was £1 to see a game irrespective of the opposition.

Think I may have gone to my last game.

      Extortionate.

Unfortunately the ticket pricing makes it an extremely expensive pastime to watch Liverpool on a regular basis. Where the owners get away with it of course is that demand is so high, particularly from "fans" such as myself who get to maybe a couple of games a year at most. For us, once you've done the train and the beer, another tenner on the ticket is f*ck all really and certainly not enough to put you off going. For local fans though who want to go to lots of games, unless you've got a bloody good job I don't know how people afford to do it. Particularly if you've got a couple of kids, it's got to be the thick end of £200 every time you go, frightening really.

It's high time the policy on all seater stadiums was looked at again in my view. They do it in Germany very efficiently (as is the case with most things) and I think it woul help to open up live football to much more people, AND help the atmosphere.
