I expect The Chile v Brazil match to be the standout can the brazilians cope with the full out attack and will Chile be undone by their adventurous approach.

Add in Netherlands v Mexico as well. I think the Netherlands will win that one, but Mexico always turns it up for big matches when they're the underdogs.

I find it quite embarrassing, as an Englishman, that the USA are better at football than England.  :f_wah:

As a scouser it is of no interest whatever, did not even consider the proposition.

Just have a look at most of these nation's (in round of 16 i mean) domestic leagues in comparison with EPL mate and you wouldn't find it embarassing whatsoever.

Players aren't better but at national football they currently have a stronger team ethic no question.  Although doubt they would have got out of England's group.

I actually really like the look of the Belgium - USA game.  I think that could be the tie of the round.

Our game against Mexico will be interesting. First time Netherlands is playing in a hot area, kind of worried about that although the team have looked very good as far as fitness goes.

Colombia-Uruguay should be a good game too.

I think you guys will obliterate Mexico. Robben seems to be on a mission and I don't see them having an answer for him. I'll be pulling for you guys in that one for sure.

Argh, ridiculous attitude to boo the Chilean fans singing their anthem. And then they returned the courtesy. Such a lack of respect.

      Well, anyway, vamos Brasil!

This is why I transferred out my Brazillian defenders in the fantasy game, they kept dropping points! In theory probably the most expensive defense in the World Cup, but making many mistakes.

What a silly mistake by Hulk but our entire defense was caught napping there.

Broke the bank for the German pair of Mertesacker and Hummels myself. Only got one South American defender and that's Isla from Chile.
