Klinsmann "where the F**k does 1 minute come from?" Have to agree with him, bollocks decision that.

Gutted for you lads, best game of the World Cup for me that. Outstanding performance that deserved a bit more luck in my opinion.

      Harsh.

55! Attempts on goal between ya, that's mind boggling when you see it compared to other games. Really was cheering them on at the end.

Wonderful game. Think Belgium deserved it over the 120 minutes but my word did USA give it a hell of a go towards the end.

Wow, what a game. Got to love the fight from our side. We've come a long way in 4 years, hopefully we can keep the momentum going. Bradley gets a lot of stick because he gets a lot of praise for being the engine. He had performed poorly this tournament. We probably didn't have any alternative but he needed to play better. Gutted but proud of the team.

So you should be mate, they tried to sell the played well but were unlucky tag for England. We had lads dropping with cramp left right and centre, your lads ran themselves into the bloody ground the entire game and hardly a sign of fatigue. The fitness levels and therefor respect for their responsibilities was outstanding.

At the end of the game it was like a boxer on the ropes for Belgium.

Really would keep tabs on that Yedlin lad, brilliant he looks.

Was rooting for USA, gutted they lost :(

I thought leaving Beckerman on the bench was a mistake, he should've come on instead of that striker, Wondo :(

For me that was the best match of the WC so far.
So proud of our team. We fought every minute, every match. This team has done so much for the sport here in the US and the deserve to be recognized.
I think it did a lot in showing the world that we can compete and were not the easy win anymore.

Got to say, wouldnt be upset to see Yedlin playing for the Reds...he reminds me of a cross between Hendo and Sterling. Blazing speed and wonderful balls into center.

Heartbroken and devastated and gutted, but so F***ing proud of the team. Sucks to go out this way, but love of USA aside, Belgium did edge it over the 120 and deserve to move on.

Hard to take, and yet, because of the fight shown at the end, it doesn't hurt as much as it did at 2-0. Football's so weird sometimes.

Sitting in my backyard after the match.  Tim's little cousins are swimming in my pool.  We were all gutted at the end of the match.

Life goes on though.  I did tell his brother, "well now he's a blue again and I'm a Red"

Amazing too the fitness when you take into account where the US played this tournament and how far they traveled. Something like 9000 miles, Belgium traveled the least I believe.

I was at the viewing party at Soldier Field in Chicago. You can really tell that this sport has come a long way. Incredible turnout and the support was massive.

It was a tough pill to swallow. Bradley was horrendous this tournament. Zusi and Bedoya were non-existant as was Dempsey in this game. Defensively we were very sound til the end. Lukaku ripped us up, my gosh he is a player.

The team has come a long way. You add maybe on or two quality midfielders and a real striker and this is a solid team.

We might not have the best players or be an elite power but the US teams will beat the sh*t out of you for 90 and run you into the ground.  They always seem to be insanely conditioned and get more physical the longer the match goes on. I think thats what Klinsmann planned. He parked the bus for 80 minutes,  let Belgium run themselves to death and then attacked the Belgium net. It almost worked and I think Belgium are going to be wiped playing Argentina.

Watching Messi today, and you can see why he is so devastating to defenders (particularly later in the game) - he does not have a really high work rate it seems to me.  One of the most technically gifted, but dare I say it lazy.  Argentina very fortunate, thought the Swiss were very good.

Someone needs to explain to the FA how to get such a high world ranking (let's be honest the Swiss are not the 6th best team in the world), because it certainly helps when groups are chosen.

If Belgium could finish, then they would probably have had 4 or 5 in normal time.  Pretty good to watch, and could cause Argentina problems, but need to be able to finish better.

If that USA right back (f*ck only knows what he's called, can't remember) who came on as sub isn't going to be a top player I'm Dutch.

I honestly think all 16 teams that got through would have beaten England.
