In terms of effort, industry and attitude Lallana has been excellent since he arrived but it's been a lack of end product (in terms of goals and assists) that has been missing so it's great to see the best of him now. Long may it continue! Probably no coincidence that we're seeing his best now that he has been able to stay fit for a prolonged period.

I will put my hands up and admit I was not convinced of Lallana in midfield and that's why I am not a football coach!
But it looks like Klopp has found the right position for him almost has if he has been played out of position previously.

Looks like the combination of Lallana, Hendo and Gini might be keeping Can on the bench in the future!

Has to be said - this has been a mightily impressive start to the season from Adam Lallana.

I noticed yesterday, when others stopped pressing, he would press which ultimately forced the others to join in, he really does set the tone. He has been our best player so far, hasn't he?

Also, towards the end, he gave another bollocking to a player who, instead of passing it into space, just blasted into touch to put us back in pressure. Yet another captain on the field!

Yes, totally. Lallana needed his boss to be his neighbour to improve his form

Without doubt. Always had it in him. Making it difficult to leave him out the team the way he's playing. Our attacking options are so much more complete now. Be it Lallana, Coutinho, Firmino, Mané or Sturridge, all can cause trouble, create and finish. Together they can be utterly devastating.

Looks a different player to previous years. Definitely the most improved player under Klopp. Im glad he is getting the goals now to accompany his hard work.

This season for sure, he's been very good. He's gone from being our nearly man to one of our strongest performers.

The cynic in me thinks we should make him waot a little longer before discussing a new contract

Probably no coincidence that his run of good form has come during his best spell of health. The more he plays, I believe the more consistent he is. And couple that with Klopp's mentoring and you've got yourself an invaluable player. Case could be made for him being our most valuable even (not saying he is, but right now he's in the running).

Take his energy out of midfield and you could even see Hendo/Gini get exposed/overrun a little.

He's been superb across the pitch.

Oozing confidence out of every part of his body, long may it continue, Adam has really come into his own so far this season and Jürgen absolutely loves him and he's the darling of the Kop at the moment  Keep up the massive good work lad.

Always rated him. One of the first names on the team sheet now for Liverpool and England.

Quality player.

He's like a completely different player. I thought his days were numbered with us when Klopp took over. Klopp has been the best thing to ever happen for Lallana's career. Never thought the day would come where he was putting in such performances.

Read somewhere Klopp said it's groin injury and likely Adam will available for next game against Manutd (18 October) but not for England International.

Any news on Adam's injury?
