A dead leg is hardly a case for taking him around the back and shooting him.

no except a dead leg for little Adam normally means a few months on the sidelines, he's like an anti-wolverine, zero healing powers!

To be fair, a dead leg hurts like a bi*ch when it first happens

At least this one will be from an impact injury though and not his usual muscular one. Not ideal for our new signing though.

      No but

      Close to zero productivity
      Low availability
      High wages

Might be a better reason to send him to the glue factory   ;)

Has a condition called Colitis, which affects him, hence why he misses so many games. Was reported on back in 2015 when we got him from Southampton. Think it'll honestly be his final season, before a move to either Southampton or Bournemouth.

We should sell him...too injury prone.

Damn, really didn't know that, poor lad, but from a business and sport pov we can't carry passengers.

He only has a minor case of colitis, it’s nowhere near the extent of what Darren Fletcher had and it certainly has no impact on the amount of muscle injuries he gets.
It’s unfortunate for him, as it would be anyone, but it’s only likely to have contributed to a small percentage of the games he’s missed. Fletcher on the other hand, think his was at the extent where he had to have to surgery to finally put a stop to it due to the amount it was stopping him from playing.

I noticed he earned up before Sundays game. Not sure if that was a fitness test per se. Perhaps we will see him tomorrow.

edit: Playing in the match, I mean.

      Looks fit and sharp.

Could be a great squad player for us this season if he stays fit.

Well done Adam, first goal since God knows when, and we really needed it.
Sometimes has looked a bit lost coming on as sub, but did well this time, control was really good, nice positive passing and build up play.

When him and Ox came on, I was saying come on lads, today is the day you need to prove whether you should be here or not. Well Adam scored for the first time in 2 years so that was f**king timely and Ox just missed what would have been a sensational winner.

      Great subs from Jürgen.

It won't help Adam. For whatever reason he's in Jürgens doghouse, ask Shaq. And it gets worse since Ox and Naby come around.

I would do, but one problem, Shaqiri is currently back home in Switzerland, dealing with an injury, want me to spell that our for you soft lad. I N J U R E D!! So in no doghouse, he is in Switzerland working with Roger Federer's coach with the injury problem he has been dealing with since last season.

Do you feel a bit of a soft c**t now?

Going forward, Lallana either plays in his usual attacking position or don't play him.

He has no understanding of that anchor role and I don't even blame him. Should be playing further forward.

I’m surprised nothing has been said about him last night

The amount of off the ball work he did last night was immense , thought he was excellent and when on the ball just played it simply but at times clever

Agree, he was very good last night.

Great to see so many of the players stepping up when they get a chance.

I am a big fan of Lallana if he could get three or four games in a row he would get back to his best. lets hope he does going into the new year with a fully fit squad bang on form will be frightening for our opposition

I think he will remain a backup, but hopefully a well-utilized one.

Yes. It wouldn't really make sense to offer him a new contract given his age and how often he has been unavailable for the past three years. Hopefully he can still play a part in winning trophies this season, but nobody stays forever. He can leave on a high.

I asked because if he's fit he might get a game tomorrow or in the first match at Qatar.
