Adam Lallana (End of contract, BHA)

Very good today for me, might have been better still had he got the right boots on (slipped over numerous times). His little flicks were excellent, and something we'll need to cut through the stubborn defences.

Continues to improve. Gave him motm vs. Boro. He might be tired, but that should be outweighed but the fact that he had a good game in a marathon match, which we won. Keep it up Adam.

He'll end up being our break in merchant when there's a bus parked in front of the opposition goal. Very very good player.

Lallana was our best player yesterday IMO. Good signs that he's regaining some form and fitness after missing preseason due to injury.

He is getting better each game which is a good sign, he reminds me a bit of Yossi. I still expect to see his level of play up another couple levels giving his reputation when he came into the club.

I think the lad is going to get better and better mate. Could see that in his first game.

If he works hard, he can be a good and useful player for us.

Much improved the last couple of games, really pleased to see the improvement and clear it was just getting his fitness up that was holding him back.

Lallana was very good today. He was everywhere and was our main creator. He's building up a nice understanding with both fullbacks, too (which tells you he was everywhere on the pitch!).

Excellent today for me, thought he looked spent around 70-75, but he kept going to the end. Fitness alone I'd have rested him and maybe given Suso last 15 but really solid performance.

Best player on the park yesterday, great technique and ran himself into the ground.

Is going to be a big player for us in the coming years.

Pleased with Adams performance yesterday. I hope he can build from it. Would love to see Coutinho back in the team though, but getting Lallana, Coutinho and Sterling to fit into a nice balanced team could prove somewhat problematic.

In the same way as

It will not happen though. Inevitably we'll be fielding Balotelli alongside Sturridge and will probably replace Coutinho with Allen.

Did not see much of him for the Saints, but was really impressed with him yesterday.  A bit like Henderson (never stopped running for the full game) but with better touch, skill etc, and I think once he gets on the same wavelength as the others will be a big player this season I think.

Impressive, especially his work ethic.
I'm not fancy his signing but having full support of him, keep work hard Adam.

Great game yesterday. Along with Henderson he covered every blade of grass and was tireless. Well in Adam. 

We're starting to see what Adam's all about now, my MOM yesterday.  Won't be long before he's getting assists and goals on a regular basis and I can't wait to see him link up with Studge.

Ironic that City cast off Gareth Barry ( on Rafa's wish list at the expense and eventual loss of Alonso) was to hack him down.

Great game from Lallana starting look like the player we were after.

Looks to be picking up his form again from last season. If he maintains it he will be a superb player for us and worth the price we paid.

Just rewatched the derby and have to say that Lallana was fantastic.
Great touches, passing and movement.
The closest i have seen to a Peter Beardsley type in ages.
To me he is an automatic 1st 11 pick.
